    Omg. This pattern saved me! I even spent money on a star bag pattern that just hurt my head trying to understand it. Thank you for this awesome pattern from this left handed crocheter 😭😭🤍

      Awesome!
      Tbh I don't like using written patterns since people have their own way of starting the row and then you can only tell once you get to the end and count the stitches and then it can get so confusing but in their defense... It is hard to write an easy to understand pattern! Lol
      I'm glad my tutorial is helping so many people! :D

    Hello , when u stopped at row four when we come to start row 5 should we slip stitch because I changed colors. And if we didn't change colours , should we still slip stitch ?

    • @EmeraldDreamCrafts
      @EmeraldDreamCrafts  4 месяца назад +2

      You will always do a slip stitch to end your rows and to connect them together. If you want to change colors it is still only the 1 slip stitch as stated before, you would add your new color in the first stitch left of the skip 2 space. Then chain 2 (counts as 1 dc) and continue with your Dc's as normal!
      (I hope I understood your question and answered it properly 😭)

      Ok so when I slip stitch to end the row I chain 2 then start double crocheting right?? And thanks for answering 🙂

    • @EmeraldDreamCrafts
      @EmeraldDreamCrafts  4 месяца назад +1

      @@Retal_K Yes! If you are ever unsure just count how many Dc there will be on the sides as it will always be a multiple of 2 and it will increase 2 every row! :D

    Hiya! I have a question, for the second row, when it says to repeat all the process, does that include the 2 chains and 1 double crochet at the beginning? Thank you!

  • @nadslol34

    Hello, so i will chain 6 in row 5? and then 8,10,12,14,16,20, and so on until i get how much i want? Also, how many rows did you do until you stopped completely?

    • @EmeraldDreamCrafts
      @EmeraldDreamCrafts  3 месяца назад +1

      No you would Chain 2 as chaining 2 mimics a Double Crochet. I do 10 rows total for my bags but you can do more or less depending on what size bag you would like!

    How are you able to count the rows? I got lost and I ended at 16 dc in between the corners

    • @EmeraldDreamCrafts
      @EmeraldDreamCrafts  Месяц назад +1

      I would suggest looking up a video on how to identify rows. Though from my calculations that should be 10 rows if you are at 16 Dc on one side of the star! You also can just keep going till you like the size of the panel.

    Hi! so if I'm not changing color, do I still do the extra slip stitch and then chain 2 or do I repeat what was done in row 2 which is slip stich and immediately start chaining 2?

    • @EmeraldDreamCrafts
      @EmeraldDreamCrafts  4 месяца назад +1

      Hello!
      The extra Slip Stitch is only needed on row 3 if you are not changing colors and then from then on You only need to do the 1 Slip Stitch to join the round :D
      (I hope that makes sense😭)

    • @emu9271

      @@EmeraldDreamCrafts So yes to doing the extra ss shown in row 3 and then no more throughout the entire project?

    • @EmeraldDreamCrafts
      @EmeraldDreamCrafts  4 месяца назад +1

      @@emu9271 If I'm understanding your question then yes! lol
      The best way to check if you are doing the right amount of stitches is to count them.
      Your chain counts as a Double Crochet and it needs to be a multiple of 2 and that number with go up with each row! :D

    wait, if you don’t switch colors do you still slip stitch before the first double crochet after the first color switch

    • @EmeraldDreamCrafts
      @EmeraldDreamCrafts  6 месяцев назад

      On the second row which is when you are done with your corners row if you want to change colors you would only slip stitch to finish your row (You don't need the extra slip stitch if you are changing colors though you can add if you want to). Then from where you left off you would skip so that your chain 2 plus your double crochet will = 2 stiches. If you do not want to change colors then you need to add the extra slip stitch so that you will start in the center and it will = 2 stiches. This only applies for the third row. From then on you start at the first stitch from where you left off (Remember it always should go up multiples of 2!)
