This is the first review of a Batik Air flight that I`ve seen. Pity about the poor cleaning of the cabin, but otherwise looks to be a decent offering. Thanks for posting Dragflyer.
Great review mate, shame about the cabin conditions tho! Hopefully Malaysia Airlines can launch this route(and to Istanbul too) with their new incoming planes
Hi, is it true that the plane has poor ventilation? Some previous passengers claimed that Batik plane has poor ventilations and they felt hot throughout the journey
Hi. Before the plane took off, it was really hot. Many of us fanned ourselves using the safety info card. After some time airborne, things getting better. I guess it's also due to the fact that the fleet is quite old.
They got rid of their business class seats. Took a flight with them from KUL-Danang-KUL…first leg was fine but on the return flight, another passenger took my seat and the stewardesses didn’t even do anything so I sat in the seat in front of the seat stealer. Lousy airline! Also, glad to see you’re uploading more videos.
It's interesting to see Batik Air opening up to more long-haul destinations. However, I do hope that their cabins on the B737Max could be more constant, though.
I haven't tried their B737max product. It would be good to be constant to meet up with customer's expectations. Hopefully more new planes would be coming in in the near future such as A330neo or A321neo.
I always wanted to know about it too. Forgot to ask the crew when I chit chat with them. Probably marketing / branding purposes, or cut cost on hotels for layovers, not really sure.
If you are comparing it with other airlines' standard A330-300 which has 2-4-2, the one on batik air is definitely narrow. since they squeeze in 1 more seat for every row.
What? 3,3,3 seat configuration for A330-300 body? Its too narrow. This configuration is suit for the body B777 normally. Sorry, to me its not worth for long haul flight.
yes, the seat was cramped. Agree, the configuration is actually for B777, 787 and 350. If you are familiar with seats on A320 such as AirAsia and Jetstar, I would say Batik Air's seat is at least 1 or 1.5 inches narrow than A320's seats.
Actually Batik Air is not a low cost carrier.. they are full service carrier but adopted the concept of full service airlines in the US eg: no free meals in economy class, etc...
@@redmi9t444 that still not considered as budget carrier.. you should know that US "full service'" airlines also did not serve free meals in economy for domestic flights even if the flight is around 4-5 hours

Thanks for watching! Hopefully Batik Air would pay attention to its cabin cleanliness after this :)
What a nice route they have chosen to operate to. Hopefully it can be maintained. Nice vid 👍
Thanks for watching my video :)

Good to see Batik Air serving this route besides Uzbekistan Airways. More options for travellers.
That's true. Offering more options for travellers and hopefully Batik Air would have more flight frequencies too
Wow amazing… batik air has an anti-mainstre route!
Yes it does! Surprised when i realised Batik Air starts flight to such an exotic place. Hopefully this route can be maintained.

3:44 ohh goodness, what is..yucks 😵
anyway, they seems do not employed male stewards, is there any reason of it?

The seat arrangements 333? Are the seats narrow?

Agree about service, it looks great especially for a budget airlines. but the yuck moment thooo. really unpleasant
Hopefully the cleaning team could also pay attention to it. And passengers behave ethically onboard.
Bro, i named this aircraft before.... Their registration before is 9M-XXI Xakura Blossom
Really? Wow!
@@Dragflyer9669 Yes true, I have proof about my statement
In my opinion, they should fly this plane to Australia, Korea and also Japan but with better cabin cleanliness
This aircraft was previously owned by AirAsia X, which also exactly serves the routes of Aus, Korea, Japan, India.
Was it a full flight?
probably 40%. Many of us get a row (3 seats) to lay down.
How much did you pay to fly Batik air to Tashkent?
1.3k one way
US dollar?
