What sucks is that would have been an awesome feud, CM Punk vs Seth Rollins had CM Punk been a normal human being
Honestly I would much rather watch the older CM Punk over the younger Seth Rollins. I think his matches are by far better and his psychology is leaps and bounds better than Rollins. In promos Rollins just comes off like a whiny little b!tch and Punk would put a verbal massacre on Rollins where he would have to dig himself out of a literal 8 foot deep grave before they would ever even step foot into a ring to throw down together. And so what if Phil is an actual jerk backstage, when it’s all said and done it’s about who can draw money and put asses into seats and CM Punk the performer can definitely do that and that is what actually scares Colby Lopez because he wouldn’t want to see his spot on the card go down. Now would CM Punk ever come back to WWE with HHH being the Head of Creative and Vince is still the Executive Chairman? There would be a better chance of having the Macho Man and Roddy Piper come back and fight one more match while hell is freezing over and Seth Rollins absolutely knows this so he can sit back and say all the cheap shots that he wants in interviews because he knows that will never happen. But honestly the way that Stone Cold put CM Punk over in interviews on his podcast and the way that Stone Cold was still able to go at WrestleMania 38 vs Kevin Owens, that right there would definitely draw CM Punk back for at least one more match with the WWE at WrestleMania and just that one match on the card would put an ass in every single seat of whatever area they choose without ever needing to have a build up of any kind at all.
I rather Seth over Punk any day.
