We had rain predicted for one day earlier this week. I was hoping for a downpour since our last rain was back in April. But it was so dry that most of it evaporated before we saw it. We barely had enough to dampen the ground. It's so nice to see the green. Thank you for all this beauty! 💜
Please don't stop these videos. I love our trips to different areas of America. Me and my granddaughter watch all your videos. She'll walk in and say that's Post and give a little laugh. lol
IN the days before GPS, we took a map out to something called "Unknown Pond" in the middle of nowhere, Vermont, and it was all logging roads, but we never were able to locate the pond, which is probably why it was named that way.
Thank you for this video!! It's so cool driving in the rain especially up there in the mountains I can't get off how everything turned around it became lush again.... New Hampshire is one of my favorite states.
No I learned that too You never ever top off your gas tank in a vehicle once you fill up and it turns off and clicks that's it don't go anymore I think it does something to the canister
Post, Thank you for another great travel, sightseeing and conversation video. I am glad you didn't accidentally cross the border again. It is cool you are getting your passport. You may have to learn some Canadian French. 😅 36 states,Lucky you!
I liked watching your vlog. ( It is so hot here in Oklahoman ... it is 100 with 86% humidity.) I feel a little cooler watching you drive in the rain. Thanks. :-)
love the rain it cleans the air and smells so sweet love rain I live in Washington State called the EVER GREEN state because it is green year round most lawns are 50% moss 25% weeds all green!!
If you are going to go do Quebec, you will need to bring someone to translate with you. You won't be able to get by without someone who speaks French. If you want to do Canadian logging roads, consider New Brunswick or Northern Ontario. Both you can get by with just English, aren't too far from you, and are extensive logging areas (New Brunswick is basically North North Maine). And gas will be the equivalent of 4.50 USD / gal or more everywhere btw.
About 10 years ago my friend and I were up there in the summer. We drove my Saturn Station wagon on those logging roads looking for moose. It was fun to drive until we came across 2 bull moose stairing at each other. We stopped for a while...until one moved off.
The White Mountains New Hampshire is my go to for everything outdoors hiking biking camping sightseeing foliage It's just beautiful it's God's country to me
central Indiana has the worst roads. the temp averages around 32 degrees in winter so lots of freezing and thawing. Iowa has good roads, rarely see a pothole cuz it just gets cold here and stays cold! I have blown 2 tires in Indianapolis due to potholes.
The low grade is around 3.49 here similar to what you just paid however I noticed on the pump premium it was 4.17 and it's 4.69 over here... That's interesting how the ratio is different in New Hampshire not that high for the premium.
YEAHHH Try your passeport and come visit us. We have indeed a LOT of logging roads especialy in northen Quebec in Abiti Region and Lac St-jean Region. And yes, I can be your interprete for the french language..llolll. A lot of fun here for you. Thanks for the video and have a good day.
If you see people throw garbage out take down their plate number if you can and maybe check their trash because there could be identifying information about them
In Germany I pay 7.66$ per gallon. Or ~1.80€ (2$) per litre for normal gas (not diesel). Good prices you have, makes a big truck like you have more affordable!
Another reason New Hampshire state roads are so good is they build them right in the first place. I live in CT and was in the trucking business for 40 years before retiring so I know roads in the Northeast. When you put a proper base down like they do in New Hampshire the roads last. Down here and in MA they never put proper base down so the roads go to hell in no time. Like any construction project you build a proper foundation and the rest of the project lasts a long time. Just FYI post10…..
Have you ever been to Pittsburgh New Hampshire I only ask because you mentioned the Canadian border One year in the late '90s that's what we had to go to get snow there was no snow anywhere around until we got up that far and that's when we went snowmobiling The lakes up there are huge beautiful and they were frozen solid.
OMG you are in Pittsburgh! There's a little town over the border in Canada called Chartierville It's a province of Quebec. We went to this restaurant Oh my gosh they had the best pizza brick oven It was so delicious. And how beautiful it is just to be in Canada. At the time my brother-in-law was a chief of police so he got us in without passports lol Don't tell anybody This was prior to 9/11
I'm noticing I'm guessing your new tires make quite a bit of road noise on the pavement. it seems worse on cooler wet days and not so bad on warner days? Or is more of a speed related thing?
Canada side of that road is ultra boring. Flat and nothing for miles and miles. That Rt3 stretch is/was one of my favorite roads to hit 130mph on the R1 motorcycle. Dangerous but fun. The 4th lake(pond really) is just a short easy hike. Pretty with lots of lily pads. I didn't get up there this year but usually camp/hike there at least once. per summer. LaPerles IGA in Colebrook always has good priced lobster. I buy a bunch and a bunch of corn and share with friends the camp fire cooked feast. Sad I didn't go there this year. Rained every weekend anyway...2023 was not a good year for outdoor stuff.
No wonder you like to drive alot when petrol is so cheap in there. He one gallon would cost $7.6-8.4. It is currently around 2 EUR per liter and the expensive one is over that.
Regarding these jerks who throw their trash out of their vehicles: get their plate number-ick up their bag-it’ll have name and address info inside and turn them into the DMV. Give them an approx location and know that the jerk will get in big trouble.

Rainy cool weather is perfect! I don't mind the sun but it has to be 75 or less and no humidity!!
IN the days before GPS, we took a map out to something called "Unknown Pond" in the middle of nowhere, Vermont, and it was all logging roads, but we never were able to locate the pond, which is probably why it was named that way.
Love driving in the rain and listening to music

Nice starting to see the mountain range!! That rain is coming down so hard it sounds like sleet
I actually wish I had more rain here where I live. We just get short spurts in thunderstorms ⛈️
I have a LOT of rain and very few thunderstorms. 😢😢
Even with all the rain that is a beautiful area. Thanks for sharing and take care.
I've been frying in 100+ temps for over a month here in southeast Texas. Thanks for sharing the rainy drive!

Thanks Post! 👊 👍Stay safe my friend, more bad weather coming in⛈️ Take care 🙏
👍
Love the CT lakes. Best fishing ever!🤠
Post - you've gotta get back to home base! Truck Camp is under siege, surrounded by the zombie moose herd. Cool drive.

Just wanted to say thanks again for the video Post, love them.
i recognized the 4th CT lake on Google Street View from one of your videos!

That's a really nice vloging format, appreciate your work.
Post 10 , nothing can beat the crappy roads here in Rhode Island.

New hampster!!!!!! YEAHHHHH
Looks like they maintaining the trees around the power lines there's a lot of that going on down here too in southern New England.
Love these videos. It looks so nice out there. Not the same issues as Long Island. Insane tick populations here, over populated deer

Here in the Netherlands it's already above 2 euro per litre (so above 8,5 dollar per gallon). So I agree that you have nice prices.
love these rainy drives
Come to Canada.
drive in rain a good way to relax

If you go offroad a long distance it might be a good idea to bring some gas tank putty to plug holes and a can of gas
You should do a video comparing last year's drought rivers and lakes and show what they are like this year!
They're at normal rates but they're not necessarily flooding in my area
@@post10Vlogs Yeah, I was meaning to see how bad the drought was compared to what normal looks like.

This is Pittsburg New Hampshire
Yes I just posted I realized that lol I should really wait to finish the videos before I speak I just get too excited sorry!
@@Mark-1111-that happens to me to lol

i have family in Groveton NH and Bloomfield VT, I have heard about the flooding.
I'm noticing I'm guessing your new tires make quite a bit of road noise on the pavement. it seems worse on cooler wet days and not so bad on warner days? Or is more of a speed related thing?
👍👍👍👍👍👍🍀💯
Get out another flooded out railroad I thought you just showed us one out west from Lake Shasta so they do it here to in New England wow
Looks like paradise compared to AZ
Vermont got het hard with flooding do you think you might try to travel there to see it and show us
Just posted about it. Thanks for watching
U88 e15 is cheaper than regular 87 and yes it's ok to put in your vehicle I use it in my 98 Ford e250 for the last 2 years no issues
Second......2nd.....lol...
What kind of truck do you have? That’s an incredible range of 800 miles!
It's not the truck, I had a second fuel tank put on that can hold two and a half times
I was thinking of doing that to my truck. The factory tank is only 23 gallons and it would be great to have a second tank in the bed.
I wonder how many people actually cut the grass after each rainfall, even if the grass is still brown
Why would you cut brown grass
Post if you could live anywhere in the US, where would it be?

I bet you can make that road fun by speeding.
Surprised you are not checking the flooding in Vermont. Crazy flooding all along the Connecticut river.
Certain videos need to be posted in order, in this video I mention the possible catastrophic flooding, this was the day before
We are completely washed out the CT has taken out everything the water is at the top of the street sign
@@post10Vlogs guess I didn’t think of that.
🌧️🌧️☔☔!!
Have you ever been up to Boundary Pond? Dirt road after Second Lake.
If it goes down to like a picnic area yes, I assumed it was part of the same wake if we're thinking about the same thing
Your tires must be aggressive tread I can heard it in the video
No wonder you like to drive alot when petrol is so cheap in there. He one gallon would cost $7.6-8.4. It is currently around 2 EUR per liter and the expensive one is over that.
Whoop!!

I would love to have a day or 2 of all of that rain. Here in Indiana we are needing rain. Our lakes and rivers is low.
