हाल के लोकसभा चुनाव में पार्टी की हार पर चर्चा के लिए लखनऊ में भाजपा राज्य कार्यकारिणी की बैठक हुई, लेकिन यह स्पष्ट हो गया कि पूरी कवायद का उद्देश्य बलि का बकरा ढूंढना था। और एक मजबूत योगी आदित्यनाथ विरोधी लॉबी को कोई और नहीं बल्कि मोदी-शाह गठबंधन ही खड़ा कर रहा था। कहा जा रहा है कि राज्य की दस विधानसभा सीटों पर होने वाले आगामी उपचुनाव योगी की किस्मत तय करेंगे।
