A year after the sectarian riots involving heart-rending disrobing , groping and molestation of women on the streets of Manipur, some audio tapes claim to have the CM asking proof of “rape”of the victims. The incident has sent shock waves not only across the nation but also in far away lands across the globe . But CM Biren Singh who chose to remain oblivious to the shameful incident wishes to still remain blissfully ignorant of the utterly shameful act of the culprits whom his government seemed to defend.

Neither the judicial commission will propose any punishment nor the party will take action.
The Kuki tribals, who once fought alongside Subhas Chandra Bose and the INA against the British, are today being falsely branded as illegal immigrants by those who declare Manipur independent from India. These same people boycott Hindi scripts, reject Hindi films, and shun Independence Day on August 15th, instead celebrating their "Independence Day" on August 14th. India must recognize the truth: the Meiteis who engage in these actions are acting against the nation. It is crucial that every Indian understands the true patriots are those who stood for the freedom of all, not those who divide and destroy. Let this be a wake-up call for the nation to stand united against such anti-national sentiments.

It's unfortunate that some of the leaders whom we elected are constantly trying to divide us ti the point if extreme bitterness and sometimes to the point if no return.
