Jay White’s story since returning has been so fantastic at every turn. Easily one of, if not the best iteration of the club, especially after how stale bullet club started to get after the reformation of the lovers.

Njpw is the greatest wrestling promotion of all time! It’s story telling is amazing because they are honest, honest about their success and their downfalls. I hope it doesn’t stumble because of AEW but I doubt it will. They just need to keep treating wrestling like a sport and that’s what makes it what it is! It’s matches are the best on the planet and the bookers deserve a lot of credit

@@SadBoyHTX I still argue he simply made it more popular. I mean we got BC shirts in Tekken. You can't tell me that ain't Too Sweet, bro. Besides, Kenny was taking AJ and Devitt's finishers and adding them to the OWA to make a vicious combo that paid homage to AJ and Devitt. To say he was killing BC is being a super mark that even Cena fanboys would be ashamed of. The Elite started as a subgroup within the BC, like G.O.D. The issue came when they started adding others to their RUclips show in an attempt to get those members a bit more popularity. You could replace Kenny with AJ and the result would've been the same. The only thing about it was that the Bucks were allowed to be mouth pieces and were already close to Kenny since they made up the BC's junior division during AJ's run.
BUT, I didn't like how they pretty much dropped the heel stuff due to people falling head over heels for Kenny, something that lead to BC going face, but it was ultimately the growth in members and popularity of Being The Elite that lead to the fall and removal of The Elite from Bullet Club since it overshadowed the group as a whole. Had Kenny not been on that show or close to the Bucks, we'd probably still have them in BC and AEW wouldn't be a thing. Kinda wish they had stayed, but it's whatever. Hopefully we'll see BC come into AEW at some point and rejoin their old brothers. Once AEW kills WWE and Vince gives Gallows, Anderson, Cole, Styles, and Devitt back.

Thanks for the history lesson. I've never seen any of NJPW but I've heard about Bullet Club. It's one thing to read about it, it's another to actually get to see it, even if it's only highlights.

The title should of been called Cut Throat Era
AJ Styles was the only one that really got BC over big while Kenny and the young bucks took that momentum to the elite and left BC faded in the background. It was right there for you to see and most people didn't even catch it. Kenny and the Young Bucks used the BC that AJ built up to mainstream in japan and a international brand that out sold a lot of WWE merchandise in the state to simply put over they're own brand The Elite. WWE even took some of there top BC guys and tried to buy the rights to BC.

Edit: I replied to my comment that there are exceptions. New Day was an accidental gold, UE was by HHH and co., Shield, last great one, was something they banked on to be an A-story so theres a significant trust and push.

Sanity, riot squad, are probably the recent ones I'm disappointed with. Exception is prob imperium (doing ok so far), UE (w/c has BC genealogy), and New Day (accidental gold, they didn't think it'll be this big).
The Shield is the last great stable they made, but we all know those 3 were uber talented.
Considering that they indeed have a surplus of talent prior to the mass firings you would think they would've put many talents to use but idk.

I'm a wwe fan and didnt watch much NJPW or any other company's but i knew a bit about the bullet club,i knew that once balor was the leader and once styles was the leader, i also knew the karl anderson and luke gallows was in it and i also knew that the young bucks were in it. I knew a bit about kenny and i knew that shinsuke and cody were in NJPW. (Cody after wwe) this is all i knew,now after watching all party of the Story of the bullet club i saw how amazing this all is. Now i know all what happend,when aj and balor were leader,when the left and so on. Its just amazing

Absolutely everything about NJPW is better than WWE and I only started watching NJPW last year. The commentary, the in-ring performances, the mic work is far better, you see new shit every match. It's not play-by-play predictable like WWE. They don't shit on the fans on purpose like Vince does out of pure spite. Fucking perfection.

NJPW is in good shape even though they lost a lot of big stars
NJPW always seems to have the next generation ready after they lose people, i.e now that Omega and the Bucks are gone, there's now space for EVIL, Sanada, Naito, Jay White, Juice Robinson, etc. Have you noticed how on njpwworld they'll usually have the big 4 as the highlight on most of the artwork and graphics. It used to have Omega, whereas it now has Jay.
This is a new era in professional wrestling, a new era in NJPW, and the man that will stand at forefront will The Switchblade Jay White with The Bullet Club in his corner. The IWGP Heavyweight belt is as good as his. Breathe...with The SwitchBlade 🤙🤘
He has at LEAST 5 years till he’s on Kenny’s level. Kenny is still the king in all pro wrestling.
TwitchingwithRage - it took a while for Kenny to get where he was, even when he joined Bullet club took him a while to get great.. but jay white has improved so fast and master his character so quickly, I don’t know if In ring jay white will ever be as good, but he will definitely have a better character and still be good in ring

Was it just me but when Gedo said "New Era, coming soon." Was I the only one thinking "Oh, so Jay is going to kick Okada out of Choas" I never thought Jay was going to be the new frontman of Bullet Club.

There's no story though. Minoru Suzuki is a badass, and he's picked up a crew around him, usually picking up members as he moves, that raids and pillages promotions before moving on.
With no other real viable promotions to now move on to, they've stuck it out in New Japan
