I’ve been writing Chinese for so many years now but my handwriting is just getting messier and messier 😅 SERIOUSLY YOUR HANDWRITING IS PERFECT ✨ IT LOOKS LIKE IT’S PRINTED
ajbfajsbbc thank you thank you!!! I still have to work a lot on it, but I appreciate your compliments a lot! 🥺🤍🤧
As a chinese student i have to say that your hanzi handwriting it’s so beautiful 😍
Wow. I’m so impressed by your writing 🤩 it really is so beautiful and neat, but the way it looks in the end 🤩 I’m seriously in love. I’ll work harder to make mine look like that too 🥰 thank you so much for being an inspiration ❤️
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'll also work harder and create better content from now on!
i haven’t handwritten chinese in SO LONG AJDHSJDJFN how is yours so pretty omg
oof thank you so so much ahaha 🤧🤍 maybe you could try journaling? I also wanted to try it out and use the time to practice writing, but haven't found the time yet haha 🤣
There is that video on the internet where a guy writes absolutely perfect 楷書 with a ballpoint pen and it still blows my mind. I have no idea how I would even make those shapes with a ballpoint pen in a single pass.
omg you need to tell me what his @ is!
I think I found my favourite channel this was so satisfying to watch I love your channel so much!
Aww thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy it! 🥺🤍
Your handwriting looks so natural, it definitely motivates me to keep training! Personally, I find traditional characters so fun to learn, but I keep wondering if it's worth it, since most people use the simplified ones nowadays.
I keep having questions in my comments, I hope it doesn't bother you. Do you learn from poetry? It seems to me that people tend to learn various poems, and I'm curious about it, but it obviously is more useful for more advanced learning. That being said, I know that children also learn a few so I was wondering if I should research those.
Either way, great video!
thank you so much! I mean, you can learn both hahah but that's very time consuming I know.. however what we do at university is: learn simplified ones by heart (reading and writing) however the traditional characters we only need to know "passively" which means reading :) and no pls just ask away everything you want to know! I'd be happy if I could answer some of your questions! regarding poetry.. we looked at one short poem until now, but my professors want us to focus more on daily language and conversation rather than written poetry... but I know it will be more of a topic in the next years ahead :) so if you only started learning mandarin, I'd listen to music or children songs or watch chinese videos/movies/dramas etc rather than read poetry 😅 but of course, if you're a passionate poetry fan.. go for it! 🤍
Tbh when i started learning chinese way back college the only time i practice wrtiting is while on class. But now that i am also learning japanese i started to practice writing as well. Thank you for your video. It made me inspired to continue practicing writing ☺
I'm glad I could inspire somebody! keep your studies up, I'm rooting for you! 😌🤍
Thank you very much! Your video is very instructive: detailed, well-explained, with the stationary references. I love it!
0:21 could you provide the name of this book you’re using here?
It's my university's book, and some stuff is explained mostly in German, however you can still use it for practicing the strokes :) These are the details:
Zhōngguózì·Shūxiě (Han-De Ban) Lehrwerk für Chinesisch als Fremdsprache Brigitte Kölla
Beijing: The Commercial Press, Mai 2009
ISBN: 978-7-100-06019-6
@@qiaokelimlk thank you!
The timing of this video is insane lol when I write Chinese it’s a struggle
don't worry too much about it! it takes time, so take it slow and do everything step by step :)
Omg id love to learn!
go for it!! :D
你好,Thank u so much for the tips , it was so helpful, 我爱你💜💜💜💜🥺🥺, I'm learning Korean and Chinese 😊😊

@@qiaokelimlk awww thx sweet heart💞💞💞💞
I'd like to know how did you make the grids in the minute 1:09, it looks so amazing and I'd like to have it for myself.
I used a squared notebook and basically just counted 4x4 square for the big character and just lined it red :)
What book do you use to study those characters
"Reading and Writing Chinese" by William McNaughton! This is a book I can recommend to beginners as well as a bit more proficient mandarin learners :D Here is the ISBN: 978-0804842990. Hope this helps
for the notebook you made your own grid on, how did you get the paper with the characters on the front of the notebook too look worn down like that? 1:09
I basically write the title on a separate sheet of paper and just ripped it out hahaha XD That's all, nothing too complicated ;)
My Chinese handwriting is trash so ty
Haha, hope this helps!
I'm so gland that I found your channel oh my you're so aesthetic 🥺 new subbie here aaa i love your video and all the thumbnails 😫💗

I just stared learning Chinese 😌 perfect timing
it's like i knew you needed a video XD
Are u learning Korean too?? , cuz ur an Army lol🤣🤣, btw I'm also learning chinese and also Korean 😊😊😊
oh you're german Speaker!
Yes hahaha, I'm based in Switzerland ;)
how did you make those grids?? 😭 i’ve been trying all the generators, but either they don’t have the faded hanzi option or it’s just a gradual fading across the row….
I mainly use our university's textbook and then I make my own grids in a separate notebook. As for the textbook I can definitely recommend you this one: McNaughton, William, and Jiageng Fan. Reading and Writing Chinese: A Comprehensive Guide to the Chinese Writing System. 4th ed., Tuttle, 2014. Hope this helps :)
Your uni book is so much cooler ... in my book we don’t habe this practice grip ... at first we learnt like the basic stroke rules but than we need to figure it out ourselves and our vocabulary list is written so small that sometimes you can’t see how many strokes the characters has ... also this is at Frist very confusing because at my uni we learn traditional characters and not the simplified ones 🥺🥺
ohh that sounds really tough 🥺 do you use any extra books for characters? if not I can recommend you a writing book which is actually in simplified characters... However, I was able to find the same edition just for traditional characters!! 😌 --> amzn.to/3eIk7jN it has so many details (stroke order, pronunciation, meaning, stroke number, hsk level number & more!) and it's actually very affordable! the only thing is that's in English, I'm not sure if there is a German version 😕
@@qiaokelimlk ouh thanks :) I kinda trying right now also to learn more the simplified characters:)
@@_lilinana.languages in that case you should go for the original: amzn.to/3w2gScL :) it's really a great book! 🤍
@@qiaokelimlk thanks
1:09 could you provide the name of this book you're using here?
Brigitte Kölla, «Zhongguozi - Shuxie» (中国字 - 书写) ,Beijing: The Commercial Press, 2009
It's a German-Chinese Version, so I'm not sure whether there is an English version. However, what I can recommend you is this book, which is an English edition:
McNaughton, W., & Fan, J. Reading and writing Chinese: A comprehensive guide to the Chinese writing system. Tuttle (2013).
