I do that alot, post replies to old comments. I have noticed in recent (hacked) versions of the newer prime games, especially 1, that with the hack to get the 2nd suit first, you would still take damage from lava, meaning that nintendo had realized the small flaw and fixed it in the newer games. And to go a bit off what you said, I found that the Gravity suit has effects from Varia because I love to screw around with the items I have equipped and experiment the combinations I could make ^_^

I can't identify any cheating. He simply used gliches, slowdown, savestates and frame-by-frame recording. It's actualy super easy, you or me could do it. The video is for entertainment purposes only. If you are not entertained by these kinds of things, then simply watch other kinds of videos.
Why do you get the Varia Suit? Does it provide more defense to survive Mothr Brain or something like that? Also, how do you preserve momentum after landing/jumping again, like you do after collecting the missile pack at 10:27?

Varia and Gravity both provide the same damage reduction, they just happen to stack.

The Gravity suit gives the same effect as Varia, you dont need Varia basically ifyou can get the Gravity first

Only varia protects damage from mother brain reducing from 700 damage to 300. Gravity has no effect
Can you get into the Wrecked Ship without tool assistance this way?
Now how did you go through the lava without the suit?
