Thank you for noticing these, it was fun hiding them around the game ;) ... Also the Henry's beta die is just a joke on old Czech saying "neštěstí ve hře, štěstí v lásce" which loosely translates to "bad luck in games, good luck in love".
I've never heard that saying in English. The Czech saying that is dearest to me is one I learnt from my Baba: studené ruce teplé srdce. I love the KCD game so much. I really hope KCD2 stays true and keeps the realism and the swearing too!
6 odd dies for the win Small tip: if you have from the ashes DLC and build tavern. You get access to a new beer which you can get for free. Drinking it will boost the chance of getting winning dice throw significantly.
Yeah but skewing your odds too much removes the challenge from the game. If I'm out to make money, skewed dice are great. But occasionally I like a challenge and having dice that fall like real dice means you can take these skills and hustle people in the real world!
Henry uses the "house" dice if he has none of his own. Six lucky playing dice with the perfect throw buff and a pint of Pribyslavitz Boar, and you cannot be beat. I think I found a strip dice in a grave once. I have two in that playthrough so I must have gotten another one somewhere.
I've played the story about 4 times. Each time changing strategies and other playstyles. 1 thing that I never understood was the farkle. Not the game...all the dice I'd usually just fill my dice with random dice and hope for the best. This was truly an eye opener and gave me a bit of reason to get back into the game after a hiatus to play RDR2 and going back and playing GTA V after haven't played since I owning it on ps3 years back. And if your community post is anything...I'd love to see a playthrough. Even you just playing KCD your way (including stacking up your groschen with Peschek) and recording your normal playing style. It may not sound fun to some to watch any grinding and messing around. But to me. 50% of KCD is just that. Grinding stats and messing around with bandit camps and such. If I had the recording software, KCD is one of the games I'd play. You should think about just streaming the game rather than recording because than it just uploads straight from the stream...no editing needed :)
I usually use lucky playing die, along with Pribyslavitz boar drink and win within one round or two or just keep going in a streak. Also if you have perfect throw it increases the chance of getting a winning throw.
The KCD Wiki gives percentages for each side of a specific die for those who are interested. For example, all 6 sides of an evenly balanced die have a 16.7% chance of turning up. The Devil's head is an evenly balanced die, but with Side 1 depicting the wild card devil. The Lu-cie-fer set has 34.8% odds on Side 6 and gives 13% to the other five sides. I'm on my first run and Henry has collected 28 dice that I've tossed into storage. The dice came from opening all DLC treasure chests and nearly all quests and activities up to entering the monastery. I don't do much pickpocketing. I've recently installed all the other DLC and am only now learning Farkle before beginning the Hans romance DLC. Of the better dice, Henry has 7 Odd die, a Lu-cie-fer set, 1 Heavenly Kingdom, 1 Lucky, and 6 Lucky Playing die. I've been winning consistently with 6 Odd die and only one game lost. I will say that having a decent set of loaded dice removes the distraction and distress of losing while you're on the learning curve. I'll try the 6 Lucky Playing die next.
Looses a game to guy with loaded dice, follows him home, mugs him in his sleep, steal his dice, comes back a week later to beat him at his own game. Just another reason why this game is still popular.
I'm pretty good at the game and never bother with any loaded or special dice any more, I just don't need them. Since I took the 'perfect throw' perk I find it quite hard to lose, even against players using loaded dice. To make it more of a challenge, I quite often will only allow myself to win in a single turn, so I either get to 4000 or bust. I still usually win.
In the playthrough I'm currently doing (it's also my first playthru), I currently have 1 shrinking playing die - found it on some bandits body I think?? - 2 regular Lucky Dice, both of which were pick pocketed, and the Lu Die, from the LuCiFer set.... although I'm kinda thinking of getting rid of it for the time being because it's been hurting me more times than it's helped. I have only ever lost twice since owning that exact set out of like 10 games so far and tbh I don't really see too much of a need for anything better lol
the best dice are "Alfons Dice". they have a red shimmering colour and you can steal it from a bandit on Band of Brothers. with these you win every time
I have no idea what any of those numbers on your weight chart means but I wanted to point out that for the Lucky playing dice, the wiki actually says that it is statistically impossible to roll a 2. It claims it has a 0% to roll. So I don't get the 1 being there
After unlocking dice skills you don't even need any special dice and win most of the time. I wish there would be a way to make dice game 100% fair and not rigged for anyone's favor
I dont understand how you are describing the dice weighting. Can't you express it as probabilities like on other sites? What does it mean if 6 has a value of 10 and 1-5 have a value of 1?
Game is so rigged it's a joke. The number of times I've got a load of points early on, only for my opponent to pull some nonsense rolls out of his ass is ridiculous.

that saying is almost present in almost all languages.

Very goot video. I never really knew which dice worked together so I didnt want to mix and match, this video helps a lot.
Glad you liked it!
Whenever I use Alfonse's dice, its not uncommon for me to get 2000-3000 points in one turn. They definitely dont seem regular to me.
same and at first i tho maybe cause i got the lucky dice perk so on second run i didnt take it n yet alfonses die kept winning big
Def wrong in this video Alfonse dice is the best in the game I get wins almost every game
I was recently playing a farkle game with Lumir in Pribyslavitz using Alfonse's dice I ended up winning by 112,000
Where can I get it?
I like using the lucky dice. I use as many as I can get my hands on, that usually does me pretty good.
Good stuff!
My favorite set is 3 lucky, and 3 odd die!
I usually just use a big mix of different dice types. It usually doesn’t work very well for me.
Same
Most dice can kind of work well together, some actually work against each other though.
Helpful video, thanks Kermit!
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you for this video. I believe I requested it something like six months ago. Very helpful.
You are welcome!

After watching this I don't think I'll be playing dice in this game at all but I appreciate this video lol
Looses a game to guy with loaded dice, follows him home, mugs him in his sleep, steal his dice, comes back a week later to beat him at his own game. Just another reason why this game is still popular.
I literally just did that before looking up this video to see what the dice I got were good for lol

Subbed just for Henry’s prison wallet I’m dead
Iv just been doing a bunch of testing and I found that 4 lucky playing die, 1 odd die and 1 heavenly kingdom die is the best combo apparently
Full lu-ci-fer set 1 heavenly kingdom die 1 lucky die 1 even die
Very useful video. I never knew which ones to use.
Glad you liked it
Very nice video! Thanks for the info!
I've been using the beta die with a strip die and doing very well
If you drink the Pribyslavitz boar beer you become almost unstoppable at farkle.
Where did you get the beautiful decorated combat jacket you are wearing?
Could you do another kcd playtrough cause that would be awesome
I wanna try knocking someone out and replacing their die with biased die then use Alfonso against them lol

just started playing this and the game is glitched you can not throw the dice on PS4
I dont understand how you are describing the dice weighting. Can't you express it as probabilities like on other sites? What does it mean if 6 has a value of 10 and 1-5 have a value of 1?
I almost have a full Lucifer set, I just can't find the Ci die, I read the Riddler has a high chance of having it but I can never find his ass.
I used LU-Ci-FER and lucky playing dice. Roll, score 3's. Roll again, score 3's more. Roll again, score 6 6's :D
Now are you playing with those dice in skalitz? How’d you do that?
A mod of some sort. I can't remember which one i used. Of course it might have just been console commands. Hard to remember as it was so long ago.
“Alls well mind how you go” *generic guard voice*
I used 3 odd dice and 3 luck dice. I never lose. And I mean never.
Can you do a video of where to find these
Just drink the beer from. The town from the ashes and you will win always.
I think alfonses dice must have gotten patched because i keep getting unbelievable hands with it. Im talking literally winning in my first turn.
2 set lucifer be like
Yeeaaa shootout to sexybiscuit. I'm pretty sure she watches your channel. I'll ask on discord amd see if she'll shout you out back
Sounds good.
I just got a full set of the Lucky playing dice :) f yer all 6
I went and got the Lu-Ci-Fer dice. Total trash. Not one triple 6 the entire game. What a waste.
Yeah, i don't much care for them either.
I match them with 2 devil head die and Alfonso's devil die and I almost always win now
yeppj

this boring game made me stop playing quests, its just so boring
