You mentioned the Portugal pepper. I grew it once, years ago, and it grew a beautiful fruit that looked and smelled deadly but unfortunately had no heat. It was interesting seeing a pepper growing 1/4” per day for a while though. I focused on the best pod and took one picture a day from the same spot to see the growth.
The Thunder Cacho Brown Pepper is a cross from the Thunder Mountain Longhorn and the Cacho Negro. And it looks like the Cacho Negro pepper because of its shape and structure, you might have got some of those seeds, or the pheno of that plant dominated. The other pepper you have is more like it's Cayenne cross. But before you get the Chocolate Cayenne, the Cayenne strain needs to crossed with the TCBP x. CH variety strain, which was originated in Denmark. Therefore it's probably different in spice and taste, but it might be a unstable strain so who knows, try it....great Video as always...Thanks Ralph 🌶
Thanks Ralph for not only educating us on the large variety of peppers but also for the entertainment you provide. Priceleess
I am just having fun making these. Thank you
I love it
Thanks

I did grow a regular cayenne once but it was low yielding and unremarkable.
I absolutely love the Portugal. My favorite Cayenne type.

Thank you and yes I agree it is unstable due to the many differences in the pods. I love variations though.
