Great comparison video. Hats off for answering my question about being able to connect to speakers from different brands using Auracast from the clip 5 video.
Im a Sony fanboy. Always my go to for audio devices. But last month I bought a JBL Charge 5 just to test it, honestly it blows me away. The sound is too clean and too loud for its size. Never have I ever had to turn it above 50%, 45% is the loudest i can handle. Now Im planning to get a Flip 6 for travelling.
@@NeverFollowTheCrowddoes it actually? Because my brand new charge 5 does have distortion on some songs. And the battery life is abysmal too. I played some bass boosted songs on 50% volume for 45 minutes it went from 80 to 20%
I don't understand that jbl flip 6 is 30 watt, but clip 5 is only 7 watt, the number of power is a huge difference, at the same time jbl flip 6 has a little loud sound than clip 5. Why is this ? I thought jbl flip 6 loudness will at least double than clip 5 😮
You do realise that watts is not about only loudness right? It's also about bass and as you can hear the flip 6 sounds much much more fuller with that deeper bass so that's where the majority of watts are going.
Your not hearing true stereo from 2 speakers housed in the same box sitting 3 inches from each other !! Plus their interfering with each other .. Stereo requires real separation and separate enclosures to sound like stereo which is to hear different instruments from different sections and directions within the room . Your little Bluetooth stereo speakers are being heard in mono but loosening the clarity and punch mono is better at producing ..That's why all the big players make these smaller portable speakers with single drivers and if you want true stereo you get 2 units and connect them with ample separation in stereo !!

Love the comparison. Looking forward to the UE Wonderboom 4 review plus it's comparison to the flip 6 and sony ult field 1. Thanks
Just got the clip 5 for 26 at the maxx, loving it, thinking about picking more up to pair them

Charge 5 has alot of issues down the line with distortion. Unreliable speaker

No speakerphone option on the JBL, it's definitely a NO GO

Can you compare this at Xiaomi sound outdoor
I wonder what JBL-Flip-7 look like?
Can Google Nest Audio speaker connect to Sony ULT Field 1 speaker via Bluetooth? Can it also connect to JBL Flip 6 speaker?
Improved but still not on my radar, the flip 6 is the smallest/ quietest speaker I could live with. Much happier with my Sony xg 300 performance wise.
How is his Jbl app like that
Who the hell wants to connect entirely two different speaks to get the sterio effect? Thats insane!! Ill go with Sony. JBL sounds so cheap!.

If you need a carrying handle to hold a small ass speaker you need help 💀
Why would you want your hands occupied while hiking or biking or whatever?
