Thanks a lot for this deep dive! Your mix sounds really warm and nice compared to a lot of similar stuff I've heard. Would've loved to see how you setup the time fx for this project.
Was waiting on that upgrade for a minute. I have the hankie too. It’s my bus eq . Now that I have these two plus my waves f6 I don’t think I need another eq😂. Very honest review mathieu keep up the great works
This video should be called "How to EQ Vocals like a Pro", or maybe not because this video actually is how it should be done, which is not like the other "How to EQ Vocals like a Pro" videos.
I suspect it's in the way the slopes are programmed. I really only notice a distinct quality difference when we get down to vary steep slopes and tight notch filters.
I appreciate both, but nowadays electronic music is vastly more popular. I remember seeing a demo for Uh-e Satin and they used a rock song that sounded like it was from 1977 and the comments were BRUTAL. It’s likely a marketing decision.

A lot of knowledge and philosophy behind it ! Thanks :)
How does this EQ bring any better quality than using FabFilter ProQ3 or about any other utility eq?

Great content delivery for this utility tool!
Man I need to get back into inf EQ. I loved it for a while back in the day but the arc of mixing is long and bends towards pro q 3
Good knowledge here.

Subscription... ugh... no thanks
I wish these demonstrations used real music, this all electronic music stuff could be anything. There are hardly ever acoustic instruments being used

What does that first sentence you wrote even mean?
I think he means acoustic sources.
Ok - send me something. I use the records that I mix that I have permission to use.
