Wish I could’ve gone here before they closed. It looks like heaven compared to what we have now in arcades. Sadly I lived too far away in the Central Valley of CA so I could never visit.
I saw some pictures of how it is now and it looks like a shell of its former self but it’s cool that it’s still around at some capacity. Do you know if it’s still the same owner? I would love to talk to him
Seriously this arcade was the holey grale sadly its gone now you would enjoyed this awesome place. Its the building has its tme and something else took over now. This arcade is relocated at the Burbank mall.
@@blakedmc1989DDRHD He trys to that place in this video is sadly closed. So many epic arcade ganes ddr 4th and para para the lost world of jurassic park bestmania 4 and so on
This hurts my first experience was a marvel super heroes arcade in a Mexican taco place but when my step father and brother told me there was an arcade at the plant I was like what??? I remember the first time I went into all amusement I was astonished seeing all these games and choosing what I wanted,to play I respected all the cabinets and the games it's depressing when we,went again only to find out it was closing honestly hurt my feelings and I miss the old days
Damn I used to go there since 2001 the last time i went there was in late 2009....i'm really going to miss that place going to that arcade right after school.....damn.
hay they moved to burbank but it's going to move and that guy is named marvin the first employee that was in the video he was a good friend he stopped working there last time I saw him was like a year or 2
hey ddrusa, nice coverage of the arcade, I liked the reporter style interview w/the owner. that arcade looks like a fun place to go to. but looked very empty. 5 stars
Well what do you expect?! That place had the same arcades for 10 years! Here's a tip for any future arcade owners. An arcade, without Street Fighter IV, is an epic fail...period!
Hey man, any idea what that game was called @ 1:08 ? I was just a kid back then but I remember that game. You’d push these little balls to make the characters race on the little track inside. Hope you see this!
It was deal or no deal this place is long gone now. This is now relocated at the burbank mall same arcade just resides there now. Feel free to check out our other newer vlogs
I remember it like a ritual finding out there was a house of the dead 4 shocked me too I always got quarters first then I played HOTD4 first then I went to time crisis 3 then metal slug 4 and 5 then marvel vs Capcom fuck it hurts
@ddrusa Yes, and the keyword here ... is "was". I used to go just about every other day there to play KOF 2002. I also use to work in the 7 eleven near there. Let's face it, Family Fun Arcade on Balboa and Devonshire is, and was, 100 times better.
@Sledge070685 oh cool thats one of my favorites games to :)i have a street fighter 2 cab at home im thinking about turning it in to a mame cab and putting a bunch of cool games in it to :)
@ddrusa I'm not a fan of the DDR series, I mainly only like Fighting Games. I'm always at FFA playing Street Fighter IV. I'm like, one of the few El Fuerte players there.
I go to the Burbank mall all the time and always play at the arcade there
