How to set up and use Boss F5-6 Footswitch with Boss Katana amp

I use my Boss Katana 50w MKII with the F5-6 Dual Footswitch. It is battery-powered and you need a 1/4 in stere cord or it won't work.

How would this work with a pedalboard though? And assigning the pedals/effects from that and NOT the amp?

No problem, works just a real amp with a pedal board.

im thinking of getting this amp. I can hear a lot of background noise when you select your solo tone, does that bother you?

No, it doesn't bother me at all.

You're the only one to explain why can't we have 5 sound instead 4, because MKII 50 can be used without Bank A or B tgo get a sound without effects but... only when you press WITH YOUR HAND directly the PAnel Button..
