This is my first souls game and honestly starting off I was extremely lost in the sauce. Had no clue what to do or where to go but this helped a ton. I followed each step and now the game is a lot more feasible for me. Thank you
For anyone who killed the dragon, west of the Lenne’s Rise grace there is a summoning metal ball that you can do a circle around and every time it falls of the cliff, it gives you 1952 runes every time you kill it
Killed the dragon by mistake, Lenne’s Rise served well (albeit a bit slow) as a farm until Mohgwyn Palace became a viable option. Seriously enjoying my 1st ever playthrough of Elden Ring.
@@UninspiringNarwhal yeah, well unfortunately if you want big money in the early game, the dragon is the only easy option. It’ll get you up to 50-100k in like 20 ish minutes if you’re committed. But definitely don’t do this the whole time, I suggest going to moghwyn palace and doing the rune farm there when you have a good AoE weapon
For those who want a continuation of this build, Lucky Ghost made a OP starter guide that uses this build but ends at a +9 weapon and high level summons. You may need to cross reference any missed items though as this guide excludes some key items. Great guides as always ESO.
Ps if your dumb like me two things 1) put the finger seals in your off hand to actually be able to use flame blade. 2)if you forget to speak to Blaidd twice after the boss battle, you can still get the talisman just after you start Rannis quest!
@@John-du2mq you probably either need to meet its base required faith stat or make sure the seals are in your off hand, make sure you have memorized the flame blade spell and then hit l1 with a weapon in the main hand

This guide is great and very helpful to a beginner. I notice though a couple things I couldn’t trigger with Npcs doing the skips. Before teleporting to fort faroth see D or he will disappear losing the better introduction to his quest. D is up the hill from the summonwater village outskirts grace. Then Defeat the mariner to trigger D inside the village. Talk to him to further his quest. Then you can farm for both runes and levels, also collect the somber smithing stones prior to Liurnia. Then do the Liurnia portion without touching any graces. When you get to Iji get everything you need. Then go back to Stormhill shack. You can now progress and finish Roderika’s quest. She will disappear if you touch any grace in Liurnia. All other npcs seem unaffected by the skips. Anyone just finding this and want to do everything in one play through I thought this would help.
Thanks for the guide. I accidentally killed the dragon the second time so had to take a long detour to do the crow farm. I am looking forward to the next step in the path.
while we wait for the next part, what would you recommend leveling everything up to in the mean time? Going to be doing a bit of farming till you release the next video. Very good information btw, video rocks!
I always go get the the blood spell north in the water near the ruined sorcery town and cast that on my Katana for insane increase in bleed proc, I am able to do about 13 hits per bleed instead of the 28-34 it takes depending on your build per bleed proc. Saves me lots of time AND I stay on my horse to I do not miss out on accidently not reaching the grace before he dies which happened to me a few times.
Just finished this build exactly by the video as I only started playing yesterday. Really enjoying this build as it was close to what I wanted anyway. Super fun and can't wait to see how it progresses from here.
Killed gryel didn’t respawn and only gave me 3750 runes idk if this patched or wtf happened 💀good guide nonetheless just used a different leveling spot
I just kill him like an hour ago with a method to increase the amount of runes you get i got around 96k you can watch the video in his channel but unfortunately i couldn't try to make him respawn beacuse i already made another method
Well your clearly a troll cause that’s literally impossible unless you rested and a smaller dragon died before you did and you didn’t get the runes from big girl cause you rested too fast cause she will always drop I believe 50/90k runes (90k gold foul foot)
you dont really need blaidd to help on bloodhound, just get a shield with 100 physic which is easily grabbed at start of limbgrave, hold the shield on and counter the attacks of bloodhound, especially with wretched as starting class, the club is so easily to stagger the bloodhound within a few counter hits. You take no damage either
If you've mastered dragon's fighting without getting hit once, you can easily defeat Greyll, the dragon on the bridge, south from where Gurranq is, at level 1 with the Moringstar. Bleed damage, good poise damage with good crit... It's 85.000 easy runes to get. I did it multiples times, fair fight without any cheese techniques, only took me maximum 3-4 tries.
I watched the video the minute it came out n made a new build but when i got to the dragon i messed up and it perm died so i reset made new build n done it again but thank you very much

I spent 32 hours on a magic build and it was only getting weaker and weaker with the harder bosses and I decided to do this build, I beat Margot the fell in under 30 secs on my second try, I only have 2 hours on the build
Still waiting for the Follow Up Guide. I could prob beat the game now if i wanted to but im stalling and killing every area boss before going to do the major bosses.
Love you. So helpful. I was dying from enemies right and left, I couldn't complete your whole tutorial cause I killed the dragon. So now I am half way through. Are there any more rune farms? Cause I am stuck at level 39 right now and can tank much of Limbgrave but still need to defend 80% in Stormhill. Please help
My blade storm build carried me through every boss np but this build is very good also but your very weak to bosses that do not bleed with weak armor unless you have a secondary strike weapon or a very heavy armor suit.
I normally carry some with me incase i run out of fp too, farming it is quite fast after all. Sighjts of grace are so close to one anothe ri find that i rarely run out of fp. If you want to spam the special weapon ability and need an exstra attack, bloodgrease can be better in certain situations for sure tho. I'd personally take slightly more fire damage and rule of cool though =P

We go up to level 50 later in the video. Its somewhat personal preference. But the weapon has a great Dex scaling, so that will be your main damage stat.
It takes so long for the wretch to kill the dragon btw Edit: the first dragon takes a while, like 30 minutes then if you bump up your dex at the grace it goes way faster the next time!
That's probably because if you pick wretch you need to level up to 18 Dex to use the flail efficiently. I covered this in my other farm guide but assumed most people would start samurai for this one.
Honestly have this build and it’s good but it can be boring and against enemies that leave next to no attack window it’s not that great especially seen as you can easily be 1/2 shotted by a lot of bosses who can stun lock you into dying

I just hit lvl 60 ish with this exact build. This guy is 100% legit, although I would suggest getting a serpent bow as well.

Use this build and get the mimic tear. Level the fang to max and the tear as high as you can. Any boss you can summon for almost becomes trivial.

Bloodhound set is in the Gelmir Hero’s Grave in Mount Gelmir.
Raging Wolf set requires going through the Volcano Manor quest.

I prefer using Bloodgrease so i dont need to use FP for nearly the same effect.

Blood flame is much better than blood grease. Can be buffed by flame grant me strength, golden vow, and the fire tear.

it appears the 2nd time you speak to the blacksmith, try fast travelling away and then back again so it appears.
go through the dialogue options like take care and talk, that worked for me when it wasn’t popping up
