Many pro sound engineers even say a good produced song doesn't require a whole lot of headache while mixing, just minor tweaks are required and i found this tip very useful.
Those producers have way more knowledge and years of experience than a new home studio producer, they have worked with mix engineers for years and know the things to look out for while producing and things to avoid.

Hi, Pahle to yah samajhiye ke phasing kya hoti hai. Agar main aapko simple bhasha mein samjhaun to jab bhi do waveforms aapas mein ek dusre ko cancel out karti hain to usko phasing bola jata hai. Generally hamare DAWs mein phase flip ya phase Invert ka button hota hai. Jo ki phasing ka issue solve kar deta hai.. ek simple trick yeh hai ke aap phase invert karte waqt sun ke dekhen k kab body rehti hai aur kab chali jaati hai. Ideally jab apko elements me body sunai de wahi sahi phase invert setting rakhni chahiye. Hope this helps. Cheers 😇👍

To achieve clarity in the mix you need to understand your own ears and how they perceive frequencies before even starting to learn any mixing techniques. Generally our ears are sensitive towards upper range frequencies. As we keep going down the frequency range our perception of differentiating two sounds at the same instance starts getting very low. This is one of the reasons why we keep single elements in the low frequencies. Why Bass guitar have single notes and why we use side-chain compression on Bass with kick. Though another big reason is the big wavelength of low frequencies. Once you start getting familiarise to the individual elements frequencies and starts training your ears. You should start learning about frequency masking and frequency buildups. Once you understand the reason behind these issues in audio you will be able to find the answers as well. And ultimately you will be able to achieve clarity in your mixes. Hope this helps. Let us know if you want to know more about these topics. Cheers 😇👍

Sir, I respect your efforts. One suggestion, in these days more and more new gears are available in the market, so would you like to change your recommendations for hoe studio? If so please do it.
Hi Jyoti, Let us help you out here. You have two options available in terms of mic connectivity to your system. 1. XLR mics 2. USB mics For XLR mics you would need an Audio Interface (Sound Card) which would be an extra cost apart from mic. For USB mics you would not need sound card it can be connected directly via usb cable. Now mics come in two types Dynamic and condenser. To use condenser microphones you should have a decent sound treatment at your place as they are very sensitive and record everything from birds chirping in the balcony to the cars moving in the nearby street. But that can be taken care of by choosing appropriate time for recording. Like at night when everyone is asleep. Second type is dynamic mics which are less sensitive comparatively and have a very small region for voice capture so you will have to keep it close to your mouth.. As you are going to use it for Voice Overs USB mic would be the most convenient and quick alternative for your requirement. Now depending upon your budget you can go for brands like Blue, Shure, AKG, Zoom etc. Hope this helps cheers 😇👍

Hi Arvind, let us share some insight here. You are not required to learn a musical instrument to mix or EQ (which is ultimately part of mixing). If you can sing and hear a singer singing a wrong note you can mix as well.. mixing is all about making recordings sound better. Now it is completely up to you whether you want to focus on singing or you want to focus on mixing. Because both require hard work and dedication. Rather than spending years learning the art of mixing probably you can invest that time to improve your singing to the next level and hire a decent mixing engineer to do the task. Or you can start learning bit by bit about the basics of mixing and keep it a daily practice from here on. EQ is just a volume control for individual frequencies (Graphic EQ)or a band of frequencies (Parametric EQ). Remember we had Bass and Treble knobs on our stereo Cassette player to control Low and High frequencies. Now in mixing we have several knobs available for use e.g. Subs, Lows, LowMids, Mids, HiMids, Highs, Sibilance, Air etc. To start learning EQ it is very important to first listen to the instrument and understand where in the frequency spectrum does its sound lie.. like Bass guitar lies in low region, hihat lies in the high region. Listen to specific bands and train your ears. Once you understand that, it becomes very easy to cut or boost frequencies which are in our favor or not. Hope this helps. Cheers 😇👍

you have to contact record labels through their website to get “sync license”, that’s the only solution if you want 100% security against strikes.
