Seventeen are self-producing idol. They make their own songs and choreography.
Woozi (vocal team leader) is a producer in seventeen.
Hoshi (performance team leader) is a choreographer in seventeen.
But all members also have a role in making songs, lyrics, and making choreography. Dino (maknae) also made a choreography for seventeen - flower.
You can watch extremely guide seventeen to get to know them.
    Thank you 💎💎😄

This song is about thanking the fans and express their gratefulness. The choreography incorporates the sign language/hand gesture of "Thanks/Thank you" in Korean.
    Choreograph by Hoshi and LOOK.
It has a lot of transition you'll definitely enjoy. Thanks!

I really love watching your reaction ♡ the details you giving us is admirable cause I don't know what I'm missing from dancer perspective, and I'm soooo happy you recognize Woozi's superb dancing talent♡ he's in the position of composer and vocal team so ppl usually just focus on that part of him but actually theres something seem effortless when he is dancing that captivate me but Idk how he do that. And ur reaction to 4:30 is totally relatable! Thank you for doing this, looking forward to ur next vid if you continue this series, have a nice day!

His reaction to the negative space woah part, I felt him. As a dancer myself, I was honestly really shocked and hyped up with that part. Because as he said in the vid, it need so much training since it's all about being one with the rhythm.
The whole time he had a mental breakdown with that one part I was like, "Yo, I get you! I feel the same."
This song is hands down my favorite one from Seventeen as a whole. There's just so much reasons to enjoy and love this song more and more. I wish these boys the best in their career!

And the choreo i think its Made by Hoshi (the boys with yellow jacket), Dino ( the svt's maknae ) and other choreographer Choi young Joon i think 😂

‘Even though its the same movements its never boring, they have the same ingredients but they make different food out of it which keeps it entraining’ PREACH! Especially since its a b-side and not the title they are supposed to promote, its very interesting to see that they did not try to make this choreo complex BUT still managed to captivate everyone’s attention from the first to the last second. No wonder why SVT were awarded for being the best performance group two years in a row now. If you wish to go on another SVT reaction i suggest their recent choreo for ‘Getting closer’, the energy of that song is CRAZY and the choreo is insane.
Thank you for reaction to seventeen and always leaving nice comments about them :)

I thinks I heard someone from their choreography team said that the hand movement you mentioned, is actually like a sexy movement or something..like they wanted to come up w sexy moves, but they don't want the typical sexy body roll and all the common stuff. They wanted something different, so they come out with that hand movement, it's like putting a perfume on ur hand. They mentioned that eventho putting a perfume is simple, but seventeen can make that simple move to be sexy bc they're seventeen.

rap: vernon, mingyu, wonwoo, s.coup (writes there raps)

Check out the original Seventeen music video/dance practice first if you haven't already because that in itself is a masterpiece of beautiful misdirection. They always seem to appear out of thin air lol Hoshi is sooooo creative with his choreo, literally blew my mind out of the water because of how detailed and clean the moves were. I really liked how you take the time to explain your thoughts of the dance through playbacks of the video with arrows and circles and more. Makes it feel like I'm actually listening to a dancer. Thank you for analysing SEVENTEEN's choreography.
I recommend their earlier works like Adore U, Mansae, Pretty U and Very Nice for a completely different style of SEVENTEEN. All four works have dance practice videos too. Their dance at that time was more musical-like (in my opinion) and have a very happy, refreshing and cheerful vibe. Not that there aren't cheerful now. But their choreography at the time was very fitting for their young age. Would love to hear your take on that.

i'm glad i found this video! most dance reactions that got suggested to me don't seem to talk about the technique of the dance that much, it's only the basics and less interesting as it's easy to just be amazed and compliment them for the clean choreography they have -- makes it feel like it's the same as usual reaction video, not specialized.
but you explain why the things they did are amazing from a dancer's point of view while also addressing the technicality of the moves and relating back to the song, which is really nice.
hoshi does work on the choreography but he also collaborates with a several dance studios/choreographers in making title track's dance. usually they have more freedom to do choreography with the B side tracks (e.g Flower's choreography is by Dino, member of the performance team & the youngest member of svt)
hoping to see more of these vids! please do react to other svt choreography videos as well.

  • @woozib3758
    @woozib3758 5 лет назад

Also you can interpret the choreo however you like! One time hoshi picked up a tissue and said "damn das cool imma put that in the choreo"
There is this door opening move in home i dont if you picked it up. Its the "cuz im your home home home" where they mime opening a door and entering. Sometimes they can be poetic. Dont get me started on Dont wanna cry and Thanks.

SEVENTEEN is known as a self-producing group so most of their tracks and performances are done by them ^^. Like how, Woozi is the songwriter and composer of majority of their songs and that Hoshi (and the Performance team and other collabs) creates all the choreo they ever did. SVT also does their own lyrics and stuff. Hoshi and Woozi (mainly) as well as other members have been doing this since pre-debut :3

  • @jemloveclub

loved this video a lot!! one of the choreographers choi youngjoon actually had a public teaching for a few of his choreos and he said he wanted to create a new hand move but have a sexy feel to it. he said since it’s seventeen, they can make anything look sexy lol i also think handcuffs have to do with it like being in a relationship. and i’m not sure if anyone has told you this but svt especially hoshi (choreographer and performance unit’s leader) and choreographers from the dance group “LOOK” like to add korean sign language a lot in svt’s dances. this can be seen in their songs “Adore U” “Pretty U” “Clap” “Thanks” and “Home”. if you watch the choreography video for Thanks, the part where they make a karate chop gesture 3 or 4 times on their arm is “thank you” in korean sign language. the sign for home is making a roof gesture with both hands which can be seen multiples when they sing the chorus of Home
hope you could analyze the choreo for Thanks and Getting Closer! and maybe react to the song Change Up just cause i think it’s your style lol

So is anybody going to inform him of the masterpiece that getting closer is, honestly one of my favorite choreos right next to Thanks which is also 10/10.... but Hoshi makes or is at least involved with all of the seventeen choreography with Dino and I don't know if someone has already told him but seventeen has 3 units Hip Hop unit(rappers), Vocal unit(singers) and Performance unit(dancers) the performance unit have lots of other dance videos that are just as amazing for example Lilili Yabbay which is a lot more contemporary and in my opinion like artsy.... Stan Seventeen and love your videos

Hoshi did indeed do great did indeed do this choreo, as well. I agree with you on about 100% of this video! I don't dance myself but I love good quality dancing and every last point you made IS ME! And if you want to see some fantastic footwrk from the boys , I'd like to suggest Crazy in Love, AJu Nice and Getting Closer.
And this performance for their comeback showcase especially Woozies part on that negative space is my favorite part! I especially like hearing their footsteps.
And yes, Woozie is very graceful when he dances. He's the shortest member but he is quite powerful. Woozie is very talented and I consider he and Hoshi to be geniuses! Woozie does a large portion of SVT's production. And Hoshi does along with Performance team does a large percentage of the choreos. They along with S.Coups are the leaders of their units. I think you should checkout "A Subpar Guide to Seventeen". It will give some great insight, into the group and how talented these 13 young men are.
And NO, the handcuffs dance is spot on! It's about being so enthralled with a person that they have you captivated!! So, you got it amazing!!! I love that you;re slipping hard into the diamond life!!! I look forward to more of what you see in their choreos!

I´m still learning names, they are all so fast I can´t notice them directly - not you Woozi, ma boi - and they are all so professional and they are a lot, I will learn them - ahh Woozi you did great! What a body yes yes -
As I said, still learning ^^

Bruh, I am loving your dance analysis videos. I've always wanted to hear a dancer's thoughts in detail and not just a complete reaction of the choreography. Especially about SVT's. Please continue to do more of these videos, I'm loving them. 😂
And also, other than SVT. Could you also react to the choreography of the girl group, Gfriend? Their song "Love Whisper" should be a good one. 😁

Thank you so much for the amazing reaction. Really appreciate your analysis, you gave such great input from a dancer’s perspective. If you have time, please react to SVT’s Thanks, Getting Closer, Clap and Our Dawn Is Hotter Than Day choreo. They’re all so great songs and dance but would love to see your analysis and reaction to them too. Thank you! 🙏

You're like. The. Most. Sensible. Reactor. Ever. I mean, some people just place "dancer reacts" to their video titles but, honey u are legit. I like you so much!!!!! (emphasis to this) also, are u Filipino? Hihihi ily already ❤❤
Hoshi choreographs almost all SVT songs, btw.
And the negative space choreo you were talking about, Woozi was probably in front to lead that part coz he made the song and he practically knows the rhythm best.
PLEASE REACT TO THANKS AND GETTING CLOSER BY SEVENTEEN ❤💘

I like your Seventeen reaction! I'm looking forward for other Seventeen reactions. Most of Seventeen dance movements have a hidden meaning on it. Just like in their song Pretty U, Mansae and Thanks!
Please react to Seventeen Highlight, Thanks, Call Call Call and of course you can't miss Getting closer 😊 but you should check out all of their Dance choreography from their songs in 2015 to now 😊
