      Silvith Tello so true! Very well said!
      Personally I’m a big fan of dance performances like these. Maybe I’m passed my time. Idk. But because the concepts are more literal, I find them more clever and interesting.

    I love everything you noticed! This is the best thing about SVT doing their own choreo from the beginning. You actually get to SEE their evolution. Most Kpop groups have professional choreographies prepared for them right from the get go, some very successful and very famous. Hoshi and the performance unit have worked so hard and have grown so much! It makes me appreciate them even more. The same goes for Woozi, and the rest of the guys when it comes to their music. They've experimented with different genres and have grown as composers, writers, and even as producers. And they have even learned new skills beyond that, such as video editing and directing. And all the while, growing as individuals with new, creative hobbies, like art, fashion, and photography.

    • @jokyme

  • @bb-pf5nf
    @bb-pf5nf 5 лет назад +5

    Their early choreography has a strong musical style that expresses the lyrics. Even if people don't know the lyrics, they wanted to let them know the song's contents by watching the stage. Due to the high level of individual stage acting skills, SEVENTEEN has gained popularity as a group that has performed well since its debut.
    Each member has different details. There are parts that match the timing and texture, and there are parts that match the angles and the details. It's also their know-how that they learned over a long period of time together.
    The members also always say, "We make music that we can do at that time." That's why "seventeen's music grows with seventeen." We think it's possible cause it's a self-produce group.

  • @hyl4044
    @hyl4044 5 лет назад +3

    When this song came out their oldest member s.coups is literally only 20 and their youngest dino is only 16 that's why their cancept is all cute and boyish. I actually love this concept a whole lot but woozi mentioned that they make music and convey emotion according to what they feel at their age and that's why he feels that their music grow and mature with them. And i think that's really cool bcuz they could truly convey their message to fans through their music

    They sure were fetuses. But Dino’s hair.......
    Vernon’s hair......
    Woozi’s hair......
    I’m sorry but their stylist messed up. They gave Dino a ducks butt, Vernon a fortune cookie, and don’t get me wrong I love woozi with pink hair but it literally looked like strawberry syrup poured in his head. But anyways on topic with dance. This was the first song I heard from them and I loved the song but the MV cringed me out back then. This choreography made me love seventeen. I actually didn’t noticed how much they have changed until u mentioned it.

    Its awesome seeing the boys grow, their trainee years were a little different because they've all been together dancing as predebut Seventeen since Christmas 2013 and members like S.coups and Woozi have been dancing together since 2010. Typically kpop groups are just competing individuals until theyre put in a debut team a few months before debut. I wish there was more HQ footage of them predebut to show you their development from there to Mansae to now but most of its subgroups/poorly filmed/ features old members/doesn't feature The8 (he joined last) or its a cover. Some of the clips are quite entertaining as they were a good bit clunkier? I'm not a dancer so I don't know how to describe it but its less effortless.

    Their live stages of this and adore u showed this youth and playfulness you mentioned well, they really played around on stage when they're not in the center of the performance, and that's part of what drew me to them coz they did different things every time 👍

    I agree with what you said about their stage presence!
    I got hooked from adore u era since the moment i first saw them performing Adore U and the one that instantly got hooked up was the stage presence, definitely.
    They werre so young, so fresh, so new to the industry as a just debut group but i could see it in them, the passion, the fire that they displayed as a part of their stage presence. It was so amazing to see a rookie group doing that on their debut stages.. Their facial expression theur confidence and everything. It was the best!

    You said you like how they have evolved. Well first, yes they have grown up, and yes their dancing has moved away from the teenage feel. But remember with "Mansae" and even "Adore You" the company was looking for. I believe "Don't wanna Cry was their first move away from cutesy and into the men they are becoming....all of them.
    If you want to see how far they have come, I have two suggestions for you. Keep in mind neither one has an MV, but both of them have dance practices. The first one is called "Crazy in Love", talk about amazing foot work. Second one and one of my faves, is a collab with their label mate Nu'est W. The song is called "Heaven". Keep in mind 13 members of Seventeen and 5 or 6 of Nu'est W, moving together as "one body, one mind." IT F*@$ING AMAZING!
    Try not to miss "Our Dawn is Hotter than Day." Another one w/o a MV, but dance practice is on point....I could keep going and all of them, but I think this might be a good start....GOOD LUCK!

    I hope you react also in their Shining Diamond dance performance. I'm always watching your dance analysis, and I love every video you upload. Bc your reaction is not just "WOW" "OH MY GOD" or some cringe reaction. THANK YOU ❤️

    Fun fact: Seventeen watches a lot of dance covers of their songs, and Coups mentioned how they've never seen a cover group properly do this jump at 6:06. There's always a couple people who don't do the full jump.

    I love the way you educate us on the choreography. Can you maybe do a dance analysis of ACE's "Under Cover" dance practice? I just watched it for the first time today was shook, I'd love to know what the heck is going on😂
