Innova shud have a lower ground clearance version Too high to carry old people Geely cars are generally more perfect Would like to know how the reliability is tho
I will definitely get this car. My only concern is I seldom use our car (Revo) because my work is near our house and I usually go to places with my scooter. Since it has electric motor system which get its power charge when actually using the car. Will it affect the EMS when you use it seldom?
It was about the time for someone to push away innova. Toyota did not change design much and about tech features not worth even talking about. Innova is a box on 4 wheels. They failed to improve innova, or they did not care to do it. Even newest innova still looks like very outdated design. I am glad they will loose sales, maybe that wakes them up. Today every new car is reliable, and i hear many asians talk about resale values. Well, u r not buying a new car to think how u will sell it, but to enjoy in it. Well done Geely, well done. Keep it up.
thats also what I say for people that thinks already of selling the car even before owning and enjoying it. those people think they are practical but in reality they are stupid.
Have had my Oka for almost 12 months now, very pleased with its comfort. But disappointed with the instrument panel, wishing more easier to use. Gas mileage is also poor .
Japanese, american and euro car companies need to up their game. Wag sila matulog sa pansitan kung hindi mapag.iwanan sila ng Chinese cars. Personally, I have been eyeing the Suzuki Vitara but dammit ang ganda ng Maxxus G50 at panalo sa features.
Agree, sadly pinoy's always have this negative mindset pag hnd japanese car hnd relaiable lalo na pag chinese made.. We gave geely a chance over mistubishi in choosing our next car, walang pagsisisi!
This is a really helpful video Joo I liked it and thank you.. May I ask you in terms of driving performance, which do you prefer, the Okavango or Azkarra?
Theres should be a Grab Handle on the Drivers side door and they should have reposition the 3rd row AC vents, its facing Upward instead of facing the passenger... All the rest is Outrageously amazing car...
Most modern cars don't have a driver's side grab handle. They say its for safety purposes. Not sure how. And the 2nd row AC tend to hit you in the face effectively. Just our observation from test driving.
@@ecproth9296 the reason is that the driver should always put both hands on the steering wheel when driving. not one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand on the grab handle. that's the safest.
Fortuner, Hilux and Innova are built for heavy load from what I understand, so kung 2 or 3 lang skay, matagtag talaga, pero nasubukan ko ang fully loaded plus cargo, swabeeeee!!!!!! , I just purchased an Innova, although it is quite outgun but not out torque.
After checking out this car in different market, sad to say the Okavango sold in the philippines are expensive yet less features. for example, same model sold in the US called Haoyue has the heads up display and collision detection at USD21,000.00 convert that which is around 1.15m PHP. They get the 1.8 litre 4 banger turbo mild hybrid while Philippines get 1.5 turbo 3 banger mild hybrid, yet about 300k php more. Even logistics exporting to US is more expensive than exporting to the philippines. Sometimes i wonder why Government F**k their citizens so much yet they get away with it lol. Edit: Philippines is still a little better than Malaysia though. just a little.
Ive never seen a Geely here. 3 cylinders & just 190 horsepower - we dont normally want underperforming SUVs. And mild hybrid isnt cutting it with our plan to reduce carbon emissions by 2035, which is why there is now aggressive push for total EVs and PHEVs. Hyundai-Kia have introduced total EVs and offer their Santa Fe, Tucson, Sorento models in both mild hybrid & PHEV. Toyota has the Mirai, which is a hydrogen powered car. Rivian has released their total EV pickup truck and full size SUV. Geely will need to increase the power to appeal to the "average" American consumer to compete here.
@@MG-jv7pe Agreed. 190 HP is def not appealing for your average big boy American... However tbh, 190 HP is not exactly underpowered in practical sense. A lot of popular 4-cylinder MPGs in Asia don't even reach 180s. Funny, I remember what my late grandfather said regarding Americans. Its that they really don't bother much regarding quality, they just like everything to be big... Like big car, engine, hp, and big price tag. It's like Americans live by the code "the bigger the better" in all things imaginable while us Asian wants exactly the opposite 😂
