clear explaining to sort out faults and good tips for repairs . Thanks. We had re-occuring F9 Faults in Glow-worm Flexicom 30sx system Boiler in the vey cold weather mornings. Called a local Engineer who changed few parts - Two Auto Air Vents and sensor to sort out the pressure problem. Boiler working fine Pressure Bar showing 1.4 when not running. One charge was for Electrode Product Code - is it a part or just being charged for nothing as I gave full Installation and Service Manuel to the Engineer at the start. Any views on this point.
Fit allot of pressure sensors on these also the manifold they call it the support their bad for splitting .Done the vaillant ecotec course a while back and they said always check the canoe filter . Top job mate another excellent video as always 🖒
Thanks. Flexicom and ecotec are very similar and also totally different. Done too many supports (I call them the octopus ) not much fun but also easy enough once you have done a few. The Vaillant ones can be a pain with the screws underneath.
HeatingGeek no changed any of the vaillant ones . Yeah their easy to do once you do the first one . Not a bad boiler to be honest . You ever get the f13 code ?
HeatingGeek f13 usually says pcb sensing fault . Usually it is the pcb you change the interface aswell . But also had it being the gas valve and the electrodes usually to do with the earthing it's one of them annoying ones . Looking forward to your other videos 🖒
Don't expect you to answer here but worth a punt. Flexicom 30cx. F25 circulation. Has had new diverter valve and expansion vessel. Off at mains and back on cures. Cant get any more air out. Could pump be lazy?
What an excellent video. It’s given me a visual indication of what the inside of my boiler looks like without me having to take my own apart. Where abouts in the UK are you based? I’m having an issue with mine where the boiler will cut out briefly after 30 minutes for about 3 seconds at a time and I’m stumped. If you’re local to the midlands id love it if you could check it out.
I always use Spirit Of Salts. Shifts anything from both sides of plate, especially scale and rust particles. It's acid so use your PPE. Only needs to be in for approx. 10 mins. Do it outside, because the fumes can be a bit nasty.
Not sure if you will know the answer to this, but when we have the heating on, th boiler begins to vibrate with a deep sounding noise over and over again. What would it be please?
My flexi boiler when I put the radiators on the pressures rises to 2.3 2.4 bar but never drops back to 1 bar when it’s all turned off. I bleed the radiators and put heating on again and the pressure rises again. I’ve had a guy change the vessel but still happening. Any ideas?
The filling valves are letting by. You will need to replace at least one of them to stop the issue. You can prove the problem first by disconnecting the flexible hose and seeing if it leaks.
That's quite a surprise. The plate looked clean. Thanks for the video. 👌
It did look clean. The previous engineer said he gave it a clean too. Whatever he used didn't do the job though.

Top video. Lots of great tips. Many thanks.
Thanks. This was poorly edited and filmed but i just don't have very much time at the moment.
Seen the answer to my question in comments.👌
Sorry I didn’t respond to this comment. I didn’t see it in my feed. :-(
Always surprises me how clean a plate seems when in fact its full of debris. Just out of interest what chemical did you use to clean it?
Worcester
X800
Will you be able to fix my boiler aswell. I got similar type of boiler
Great video
Thanks :-)
HG, loved the video fella, interesting & great tips, many thanks, greatly appreciated.
Love & Peace to you & yours brother!👍😀
Thanks ;-)
Nice indepth repair. Keep up the good work. Nice pressure gauge for testing the vessel pressure where did you get it? Thanks.

great explanation
Excellent Video..will this sort out a recurring F14 on a flexicom aswell?
what a great name. :-) I would have to check what f14 is before `I can give you an idea
@@HeatingGeek I bought a recon Board...that sorted it😊

Bet it was the plate. Hope you got it sorted.

woodbine66 awesome !
Thats what I use. Very nasty stuff and will even damage stainless steel.
fairplay mate. you know your shit
How to drain siphon pot in flexi 30
NICE VIDEO. WHAT DESCALER ARE YOU USING BUD.
Spirits of salt. Be very careful if you use it. Don’t do it inside and flush it out of the plate with water before you try to refit it.
So Good......Best Regards
Thanks :-)

It will be the low flame combustion is incorrect. Usually/
@@HeatingGeek is that something i can alter manually on the boiler or is it replacement parts please?
great job
Thanks. :-)
When u mention de-scaling cleaner which substance or substances are you using? Could a simple CH cleaner like X800 do the same job??
Watch this video: ruclips.net/video/4HKQ2nJBWxU/видео.html
you will see what I use. Its very quick and very dangerous.
Thankyou
Really informative
Good glad it helps. :-)
Awesome video pal! Do you share these on any others social media? Facebook, Instagram ECT....
Nah im not on any social media. I might sort something out one day....
HeatingGeek get lots more views and subs I reckon mate, not alot of breakdown guys doing in depth vids like yours 👍🏻
Another quality video mate. What pump do you use to fill the expansion vessel? Cheers fella 👍
REGIN pump. I find them the best. Otherwise I use a bike pump when on the scooter.
Whatvdobyoi use to descale plate heat ex?
Cheers

In this video I show you. Be very careful with it.
Where did you get the expansion vessel pressure tester from?
from Halfords. Tyre pressure gauge
👍👍👍
Gloworm flexi 30 that is.
Undo the t20 screw and remove the whole trap.
@@HeatingGeek .Thank you so much .
Off topic from the purpose of this video but that flue extension seems so pointless
Its in a barn conversion and the walls are really thick. Good spot though!!
But sure u don't know how think the wall is
I'm ex group service, there is a quicker way to do this with your hands
