Wasn't that Toussaint's blue Rolls just before the hearse?
That guy that comes out in sunglasses and so sadly crying. I wonder who he is.
Is that Aaron Blanks marching at the front around 8:00? He's the best!
What's the name of this dirge?
+Craig Piechura Preservation Dirge
What is the song?
I SEE MITCH 👑👑👑
BYE MR TOUSAINT👑❤️⚜️⚜️⚜️
Does anyone Know the name of the song they marched out too?
Preservation Dirge.
@@psychoshamrock Apparently there's no studio recording of it. Does it go by another name?
Good video.
@@rangerwickett this is the culture of New Orleans. It's one of those tunes like St. James Infirmary Blues or Saints Go Marching In. Shoot an email to Wynton Marsalis, I'm sure he's played it many times. Kermit Ruffins might know, too.
Yeah so I know I'm four years late on this but it's kinda Preservation Dirge....but that's just their name for the Hymn "Flee As a Bird" it with "Oh Didn't He Ramble" is kinda the common 1-2 pairing for funeral processions.
What does second line mean
What’s the name of the song they play at 7:00 ?
Didn’t he ramble
@@_evanko_ oh man! Thank you so much! Haha I had even forgotten about that comment, cause I gave up!
@@Simon-ct8bc you’re welcome, but the same question was down below in comments

No one can stop us from doing our thing. Not Katrina, not 45. Carry on!
