This Game is unironically really good! Its very early in the dev process so dont expect too much from it yet, and the learning curve is MASSIVE.

In games you can live your wildest fantasies, like leaving a job with 8 hour notice, making 25 an hour as a cashier, and getting a loan after two days of cashier work.

Think the bank might be too realistic though - I went to my bank after sleeping for 15 hours and asked for a £10M loan to fund my _eating biscuits in my pants_ business and they only went and turned me down. Too real.

@@monad_tcp none of my family, extended or otherwise, could afford to just hand me $15,000 dollars and a car when I turned 18. Sometimes even loaning $100 dollars for a few weeks is enough to be the difference between eating or paying a bill. I have a big, hard working, family that live paycheck to paycheck. We love each other and would give the world to each other if we could, but we can't.
I'm glad your family is well off enough that you can blow that sort of thing off, but that is the very definition of privilege.

@@smilemore1997 1 day of rent for 1 hour, so 30 hours to pay for a month. That's a pretty great deal still. Then again, I don't think there's even a dumpster in New York you can realistically rent for the low low price of $720 a month.

I'm not huge fan of early access games, but this one I really like for some reason.
I like that the game actually requires you to take care of yourself, manage multiple businesses, ect... but RCE is kind of terrible at it. Reminds me of certain real life company owners.

That was amazing. You listed off all the things you had to do before your shift then decided to sleep 15 hours straight and wake up half an hour before your shift. I dunno why, but that legit made me laugh. Especially when you hadn't done any of the things you listed and were shocked when your shift had started and you have even thought about leaving yet. Good stuff.

I love how in games it is always so easy. Here, have a loan, have a property. In reality, no bank will open you an account in some countries without connections (just an account, I am not even talking about a loan, that is a big no-no). And just last week my mother rented a commercial property for her new business in real life, had to pay 7 months of rent up-front cause she does not have a guarantor. Small business is for rich people now.
In the U.S., pedestrians have the right of way at unregulated crosswalks, but if a signal, sign, or officer tells you not to cross, then legally, you can't cross ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Crossing the street at locations other than crosswalks or crossing against the signal is jaywalking, and you can be issued a traffic citation for doing it.
If you guys want to play this game and you're also not good at driving like me you need to know about the subway stations. For 3 dollars you can get a distance of a taxi drive, for just 3 dollars. Kind of insane ngl really useful tip for bad drivers like me and this means shops near subway stations are advantageous.

After watching other people, here are some tips:
- avoid sleeping in the car; it doesn't restore as much energy as the bed and is bad for morale
- I can't remember the name but there is another wholesaler that is cheaper
- repairing the car is expensive
- starting a burger joint is very expensive
This game looks pretty interesting and im very excited to see how your businesses grow in game

Did you know that you can take a hand truck every single times you shop something. Put it in your car/truck and take it with you home.
If you leave it with boxes on it won't despawn.
This way, you can fill up your store(s) with hand trucks. Very convenient.
In America I’ve grown to fear roundabouts. They’re just too complicated. In the countryside where i live, theres one roundabout 75 miles away from my house.
Think of it like a NASCAR oval... you keep turning until you crash.

You weren't wrong thinking that first big intersection in the car was weird. I'm American and that looked like a total cluster fuck. Stop lines on both sides, no turn guide lines, and no intermediate signals. That would cause wrecks every day.

This game should just be called Adulting. You work all day, you're always tired and/or hungry and you never home, but still have to pay rent/mortgage. Brilliant.

"where are the roundabouts?!"....oh, they're comin. Last year my little town had 0 roundabouts. This year there are at least 12. It's terrifying. Dumb old people in gigantic trucks....and none of them know how to work a roundabout. My father blew into a roundabout at like 25mph, cutting straight into traffic.....and he blamed the other drivers. 🤦
