I’d rather ask people “what color would I be and why,” because different peoples’ interpretations of what a color means is different. For example, I would describe one of my friends as green, because they’re “fresh, unique, and relieving to be in the presence of.”
Others will have different reasons and descriptions for each color.

Well yeah, they aren’t saying it’s an absolute. It’s just a possible rough idea given the psychology behind colours. It’s still fun to give it a try, just take it with a grain of salt. ^^ Also, if it’s a true friendship, it won’t ruin it like they said at the beginning. ^^
Yes, and no. We live in two worlds the conscious and subconscious. And colors themselves have a whole psychology behind them. The reason most fast food companies use yellow and red in their logos and advertising is because yellow incites hunger and red incites impulse. So yes, on a conscious level we may interpret colors different, but subconsciously we all generally interpret the meaning of colors very similarly. It’s the same concept as painting walls a certain color to control moods. Soft pink and blue walls are calming. Yellow and green and orange walls cause people to be more active. Disney invented a color called “go away green” that creates repulsion yet you really don’t even see it, made to keep people away from certain areas. Ad men have been banking on color psychology since advertising became a thing. It’s actually pretty neat!

@@squidy7771 you perceive things as colour even though they don't have a visual colour. So for me each day of the week is a specific colour, sounds have associated colours. Etc.
People are a whole mix of colours that change. I guess depending on emotions, personality etc I would say people are the hardest to describe for this reason because I don't have the language for it.

@@Seismitoad3 not quite. It's a subset of synesthesia that only involves colour perception. Other people have types of synesthesia whare they taste sounds for example but I think that is even rarer. I didn't know it was a thing until I saw a programme about it and realised that it's not universal.
