I love thyis wallet!! Great job Jean, great tutorial. Some how I had missed this, now I watched them all......love to hear you talk, as if you are right here! Wonderful!!
You are an excellent teacher -- showing all steps and talking us through the wallet. Impressive. Have you thought of doing a class for Craftsy -- you are better than some of their teachers. Anyhow, thanks for these videos!
My table is a Janome table made for either the Janome 6300, 6500, 6600 or 1600. It cost more than the machine! But it is the sturdiest table! I got one free with my Janome 7700, which also fits the 8200 and 8900 which are/were my multifunction machines. It comes with various inserts for different machines.
Thank you for making the video's... I am a visual person, and these help a lot. Do you use the Headliner or Soft and Stable in the flap area as you do the body? I haven't made one yet, and I would like using that instead of the peltex or décor bond which would make it too stiff for me...
Love the wallet and fabrics! Where did you find a table to accomodate your machine? I have my Juki sitting on a table and it's hard to sew with it for long periods of time.
can you do another tutorial on the in CW wallet I've been watching this one over and over and I'm making one right now all I have to do is make my zipper pocket
There are several other tutorials that I did on just making the zip pockets. I am not able to do more tutorials right now until mid June because of other commitments. Hope the other tutorials can help you.
Look at the dimensions for Juki and compare to Janome 1600, I'll bet the footprint is pretty much the same for both machines, so the Janome table would probably work. As far as the inserts, if they don't fit your machine exactly, you could get 1/4" Plexiglass cut to fit your machine.
Karenpalmer9988, I use headliner in my flap, with a Peltex "C" snap piece for the edge. I don't really like DecorBond because I can never get it to adhere completely. Guess I'm not patient enough with my iron!
Nice job, Jean! You're a doll to take the time to demo this little bag.
Jean -- thank you so much for helping me make my wallet! Your videos were excellent and you are a peach!
You are just fantastic. So glad I found you.
great videos thank you, I was convinced it would be too difficult for me, but after watching these I've just gone and bought the pattern!

That is Cute wallet. May I know the pattern this wallet?
This machine is a Singer S16 straight stitch machine. It is a Janome 1600 clone.
