Thank you, thank you, thank you! I could not figure out the folding of the CC pocket until I watched your video. It made it so simple(which is what I need)!!
Thanks for this extra tip for the lining, very clever!
great tip on the center lining opening vs along the outer edge. Mine would end up wavy. I will follow your advice and make my lining in 2 pieces. Thanks!
Bjerles, the lining is cut from the half body template that has the seam allowance added.
omg ty so much for this, reading how to do the card slots made my head hurt lol
I cut the headliner or Bosal a scant 8" wide and I measure the length to fit into the space from front to back, but not in the seam lines. I use single sided fusible Bosal, sticky side toward the lining then fuse it in place. Headliner just floats until the sides are sewn, it has no place to go, so it really doesn't need to be secured.
Linda Clark. I use SF 101, peltex and bosal in-r-form on my body. I like a soft puffy feel to my wallets
Jeannie,o thanks for all the tutorials...I need to know which interfacing you used on the body piece..?????
what size did you cut for the headliner or bosal foam and how did you secure it once you inserted it?
Yes, I do use the half body template. It has the 1/4" seam allowance added.
I love your video and the fabrics are to die for :) I was wondering do you sell these? If so where and how much each? Thank you
I am confused as to where your placing the peltex for the snap...your showing to attach it to the lining piece, but shouldn't it be on the exterior piece? It would be so helpful if you showed how your attaching them to the pieces.
Where did you get that fabric?? It's awesome.
Did you use the half body template to make the two lining pieces?
Did you make the lining fabric piece a bit larger to allow for the seam allowance?
Thanks,
Brenda
Thank you for these videos. The only problem I have is I'm struggling to follow the sequence of the tutorials?
for instance I'm sure you have covered this, but wouldn't cutting the one piece in half make it smaller than the outer piece?
Sandy, if you are talking about cutting directional fabric, I talked about it in this video, at about the 6:30 minute mark.

Maggs this is Jean not Janelle. Sorry, I'm in the US
Karenpalmer9988, I must confess, I add my snap or twist lock AFTER I finish my wallet, then it doesn't matter if you add the Peltex to the lining or outer piece. The back of the hardware shows in the inside of the slip pocket in the front of the wallet. It isn't a big deal to me, and my customers don't seem to care. It doesn't get in the way of using the pocket.
Hi Janelle do you make leather ones to sell at all please. I am in Australia and would love one. Please contact me thankyou Maggs
Maggie I've been trolling the internet today having just discovered this awesome wallet. I've found two places that sell these wallets: "Felt, Cotton & Whimsey" is a shop in the U.K., and "Cherry Tree Quilts" in Summerland, B.C. in Canada will actually make custom wallets. Just Google them to find them. There are likely others on Etsy.com Good luck!
