Sister, Losing a child hurts forever. My heart hurts with yours. I lost my only daughter of eight over 30 years ago when she was 3 years. You never get over it. You learn to live without them. I will definitely be remembering you when I pray. Lean on God. He is our hope and strength. Hugs and blessings.

Ask your Dr, if they know a grief counselor, to help you out please do this not getting your grief under control will destroy you. My mother in law grieve backwards, after her husband, passed and t destroyed her to the point she wrecked her car and started down the path of needing help and ended up in assisting living home she is now 80 and is a shell of her former self. It took her 14 year's to get where she's at now. ❤

I really needed to hear your words in this video. I cried as I listened and watched. I am feeling the way you are. It is true the more trauma you experience,especially as you age,it can cause you to suppress a lot and soon you lose a lot of hope and joy,I think you can be a close to God and this can still happen to us ,because we are human. I have always been the carrier of all of my families medical problems,because I worked in the medical field for 32 years,all health crises and emergencies are usually expected of me to deal with. After years of this I feel overwhelmed. I need Prayer to help my Mom right now with a terrible wound that we have been visiting a wound care center for,it was doing good and now this week digressed,the worry is keeping me up at night. I ask for all of this prayer community to pray for her healing and Encouragement for me to keep going on! Thank you for this beautiful painting video and the honesty of your heart. All my love❤️

I love your outdoor pool area so much! I too have a similar pool that I purchased on clearance this past winter. You have given me some ideas for it. Mine is still in the box.
My idea for your garden tools is to add flowers and greenery. Or perhaps take your wire basket (that you have towels I ) and somehow attach it in front of the handles and add flowers to it. And use a basket or another container for your towels.

You are absolutely right. I agree with all your words of wisdom here. I’m alone now. I’ve been widowed 7 years and I have a lot of built up trauma too. I’m working on me with the Lord. I have my 2 grown daughters and my pets and I’m so blessed. I have started turning my bedroom into a pink paradise. It makes me happy! Don’t feel bad about paying for lawn service Olivia. I’m on a very tight budget but I do it too. I’m 57, my yard is big for a town lot and I have fibromyalgia. It’s as necessary as other bills at this time.

Early this week my fraternal twin lost her Chihuahua in a tragic death that she, myself and my husband witnessed. Please pray for our strength in forgiveness and healing from this traumatic experience. This precious dog helped my sister get through the sudden death of her husband less than two years ago and now she feels her life is without meaning or purpose. 😢Please pray for her. 😌🙏🏼
After watching your video the third time, I will be looking for a pool ladder at a garage sale. I can see putting board "shelfs" on it and then anchoring it to my wooden fence, and place pretty potted plants on it. Maybe a few garden decor also. Thank you for the inspiration.

Anger is a normal stage of grief. You have lots of loss: your kids are growing up and leaving so your life's work with them us ending; plus your concern for your sister; your neuropathy, etc. Anger, depression, sorrow are all normal. It behooves us women, at this stage of life, to grieve loss well and look for or create moments of joy. You did this by letting us relax with you as you painted. You got this! Well done

Olivia, we all go through it. We all handle things differently. I handle somethings, by talking about it and others I keep to myself, until I explode...witch isn't a good thing. Then you say things that hurt people.
I have so m7ch going on in my life, that there is days that I just want to hide.
The man, I've been seeing has took me camping, just to get some piece and quiet. I have been Blessed, to have him.

Such a lovely video, Olivia. Your backyard really looks inviting, fun, and pretty!! Such a neat idea with the old rusty tools to jazz them up a bit. They look great on the fence. You might want to hang a metal flower nearby. It would tie it all in. Or some fake floral baskets near them. A ladybug or dragon fly or bee would be cute, or even a garden hat and some garden gloves on the fence with them, too!! Lol. Just an idea. You are lucky your boys and hubby don't mind all the pink!! Many would. Enjoyed your talk today on anger, forgiveness and apology. So important to be close to God during all the trials in our lives. Knowing we are so loved and blessed by our Lord is a great comfort to me. I want to share this with you. When I was little, I asked my foster mom why good people had to die. I was upset and said why doesn't God just take the bad people away....that they were the ones who deserved to die, not the good people. She smiled at me and said "Isn't it obvious??! God doesn't want all the bad people in heaven...he needs some of the good ones, too". I stopped and had to ponder that thought for a little while as a child. I realized then, that she was right. And as I got older, to know in my heart, that going to Heaven is a reason to rejoice, not be sad. I know it's hard for many to think and feel "Why me? Or Why my loved one"?? But, those questions can only be answered when we pass and talk with our Lord. Then all will be understood. I hope you have a blessed week, Olivia. Thank you for always being a bright spot in my day. She lives with me half the time when I work from home and then with my sister on other days .. I set up a table snd give her paint and buy dollar tree wood pieces and let her paint paint paint to her hearts content . She loves watching me create things and always says “wonder where you got that talent from” the thing is I thought I had no talent .. I thought I could never create like my mom but after watching your videos I realized I can make beautiful things .. snd surprisingly everyone loves my crafts and wants to purchase them so I have started a small business !! Imagine that!! I can make beautiful things just like my Mom ❤❤ thank you so much for helping and inspiring me .. I love crafting now !!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

You have made an amazing spa area to relax in. It looks awesome. Love it. Yes we all go through what I call hurt anger and it’s hard to sometimes see the light. Believe me when I lost my Brother and Sister 3 years apart I was wanting answers to WHY. It took awhile but I worked it out with God. So yes we all need prayer and get togethers with your friends is a way that helps. Love you and praying for you and your family. 🥰🙏🙏🙏

Painting the ladder, inside I'm laughing in a fun, with you way, cuz if items don't move when you have a paint brush in hand.. lol !! Yes ! Only thing I also thought was the pool chemicsls. Put plants on the ladder !! Pink & all !! Board painted white across the steps to put small plants on them,or even an old picture frame , with low growing plants, flowers . Just enough to hold the soil. Yes! Gathering eases the mind ! Happy for you on finding a way to manage & show stress the boot ! Anger is a normal emotion, it happens. Best is acknoledging it, face , then, cur.b it as you did. Many times things that cause anger, again, normal, are many times what we can'nt change or control, yet we can control, manage how we react. That's where our power is! Say yep, I'm not happy all the way to full blown made, then in reaction, it's where by living on, smiling, laughing, not letting the anger consume us we show it to the door. HUGS & love to you Olivia !!

Olivia, I lost one sister and have one left. The one who passed didn't let anyone know but her kids that she was so sick. She was hard to deal with at times and didn't always answer the phone or even stay in the same room with us when she invited us over. We all had a difficult childhood I think is why. But I got a call 3 hours before she died, drove 85 mph down the freeway to try to get there to talk to her before she died. She didn't even know we were there and when I called my other sister who had moved out of state to let her know, she must have said 100 times, "She died?" Yes, we had anger too. I lost another friend and I wanted to know he was okay so I had a session with a famous medium who while we were doing that he asked if I had a sister and that she wanted to talk to me. I should have said yes, but partly I was still so mad she never let us know, that I said no, I didn't want him to continue with her. I wish I had let her talk to me. Right now, I have a daughter that because she doesn't like who we voted for last time hasn't spoken to any of us, me, her sister, niece or nephew or stepdad for 4 years, so that is what I could use your prayers about. I have prayed about it but nothing has changed and we were so close before politics got involved. I am crying now as I type it so upsets me. Much love and prayers to you, you help keep me sane in an insane world.
I am entering the stages of Perimenopause, and I am definitely seeing changes in my behavior. It makes me sad because I know this is not me. Everything bothers me. I have no patience, and I am always giving my poor husband a hard time. Thank god he understands that I am going thru hormonal changes and doesn't take it personally. 😊

Please pray for my son. He struggles with a drug addiction. My heart breaks for him. I want my son back. I want him to have a relationship with God like he used to have and the close relationship we used to have.
