Hi Nick - excellent news about your windows and roof lights. Things really are coming together now. You need a strimmer for the garden, not a mower ! Thanks for taking us on your journey - it's great to follow you. Take care 🙂
Oh my goodness, Nick! The doors and windows certainly make a difference. Now we can really see your vision for the space. When completed the view to the garden will be stunning! I, too, like the window symmetry on either side of the hob. Well done! I look forward to the next one. Take care! 😀
Nick it looks amazing well done, I know at first hand it is hard work and takes boundless energy which clearly you have to complete the project. Don't fret about the garden you have plenty of time to come up with a plan and these areas are so much easier to deal with once you are in. Looking forward to seeing the October finish. Brilliant and very well done.
Having just been quoted £50k+ for a simple double garage I can only imagine the cost of this refurbishment…not hearing many unhappy builders at the moment they seem to be able to charge they want… None are prepared to give a full breakdown of costs picking postcode prices out of fresh air and it seems Friday is also no longer considered a working day.
Its all looking really great, one thing I would do is switch the office and snug around, the snug isnt going to be big enough for a large amount of people in it, plus there isnt anywhere good to put the TV, a TV idealy should be eye height when you are sat on a chair to avoid neck and eye strain.
Wow the windows and down lights really do change the place. Your home is coming on leaps and bounds and you've got your plasters coming for four days, what a difference they will make👍. Are you hoping to be in by Christmas? Take care and see you next time🤗
What’s your budget, because I’ve received two quotes in the region of £50k for a box, single story extension. Loving the update, you’ll easily have a £1.5m home there when finished! Particular props on installing the bum washer!
It's going to look fantastic Nick! I'm just wondering, as I'm potentially looking at a refurb job myself. I can't see in any of your videos you've mentioned underfloor heating. I've grown quite attached to the idea of plumbed in underfloor heating, but if you've decided against it I'd love to know why you decided against it. Because if you've not wanted to do it, then maybe it's not worth doing. Thanks!
Hi, yes I will be having water under floor heating in the kitchen and living rooms and electric under floor heating in the bathrooms and downstairs toilet. Will be filming how to’s and my findings when the house is complete in October! Thanks for watching
@@NicksHomeRenovations Fantastic thank you for replying Nick! I shall look forward to watching those videos, good luck with the rest of the works. Love your videos by the way, I've been recommending them to friends.
Looks great Nick. Was there a design decision between on the different styles of roof lantern windows? The one over the kitchen is different from the other two?
Please correct me if I’m wrong.. Did you say previously you were Kent based? If so do you happen to know of any good trustworthy architects in Kent and builders?

Goodness, what a mammoth task it's been! Looking SO good though, and it will be your dream home! ❤ XXX
I'd definitely consider switching the play room and snug around. Not sure she needs all that space!
The roof lanterns look good, certainly bring natural light into the extension.

Looks amazing, so bright but still private at the back. Can’t wait to see the front once the render is done.

This is really coming together 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Wow it’s already looking fantastic. It’s going to be very exciting watching it properly transform into a home now. Keep the videos coming Nick!
The Crittall style windows and doors look so much better than the usual chunky white upvc frames.
Looks great Nick 😀

It’s taking shape mate 🤔😎
It's massive 😮
Hi Nick - any recommendations for which retailers/brands you like for reliable crittall/bifold doors? Thanks!
How’s the budget looking?
Hey Nick - looking great. Have you kept a running / detailed costing for a future video review when all complete ?

I believe the bigger one would have looked better over the kitchen too. Was strange seeing the small one.
Please correct me if I’m wrong..

Hi Matt, yes - please email me at nickshouserenovation@gmail.com
I think you need to hire a goat for the garden nick 👍🐐
