One of my girl friends thought so too when we were about 16. So it isn't just the boys.
She really thought we girls peed from our vaginas and was complaining how annoying it was, having to change her tampon every time she had to go to the toilet. So me and another friend had to break it down to her and pretty much guide her on her next toilet break, reassuring her that "yes, just leave the tampon in. And leave the string in this area so it won't get wet."
Her whole world was changed that day.

Lulu CM1 me and my friend get our periods around the same time but this month hers was on time and mine was late by a few days and she was like “r u pregnant??” even tho she knows I’m a virgin, or at least she could have assumed that at the time l, as I’ve never had a bf either.

Had bad heart burn with my youngest and she was born with a lot of hair.
That happened with my older sister my mom would get bad heart burns and my older sister was born with lots of hair that was sticking up like the hair wouldn’t go down.
I was the total opposite. I didn’t have a full head of hair until I was almost 4 going into pre-school

#3 is actually not true, the way that nutrients are delivered to baby is through the placenta (where baby's and mom's bloods actually don't mix, it's through diffusion since baby's hemoglobin is actually more susceptible to binding oxygen than mom's), which goes through the umbilical vein, and then about half of the oxygenated blood is shunted past the liver (if it all passed through the liver it would actually damage it due to the high amount of pressure it would be exposed to) through the ductus venous and into the inferior vena cava which then goes to the heart (bypasses lungs also due to the issue of high pressure) and is distributed throughout the body. No where in that are the taste buds involved...

See what I read is that they taste it in the amniotic fluid, my doctor even told me that it’s correct (currently 25 weeks pregnant) and so far there kinda seems to be a circulation. What I was told was a few hours after you eat something, for whatever reason I don’t know how the body presses it or why it happens but the flavor (more or less) is in the amniotic fluid which the baby drinks along with the pee, and as long as he’s far enough along to have developed his taste buds he can taste it. And when I eat spicy food he does appear to be more active, it could be a coincidence but I was told it’s true

@@autumnkuenniger4515 by the time the nutrients of the food that mother has consumed are in her blood stream, they have been broken down to their smallest unit possible in order to be passed in from the small intestine, through the cell walls, and into her blood. At this point it will flow through the hepatic portal system and into the liver where it will act as a filter of sorts, making sure that there are no toxins in the food. At this point it hasn't reached baby and it has been broken down and filtered, but it will continue on through the ascending vena cava, through the heart and lungs where it will be oxygenated, and eventually down the descending aorta where it will eventually go back to the uterus. Let us say that you consumed chicken for dinner, the baby will not be able to taste said chicken but the nutrients from the chicken will eventually make it into the baby. If it ends up in the urine of the fetus (amniotic fluid), it would have to be filtered out through the kidneys (discussing those is quite the monster since so much biochemistry is involved) and large molecules cannot end up in the urine since they would also have to pass through two layers of epithelium that lines the tubules of the kidneys and the network blood vessels that are closely connected to them. As for spicy food, the molecule capsaicin (C18H27NO3) is what gives it that spice, and it is absorbed in the gut where it is then almost completely metabolized once it reaches circulation (link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-0348-0828-6_7) but it could be small enough to pass the placental barrier (only very very small molecules such as glucose, oxygen, fatty acids, electrolytes, etc. can pass through) where it can affect the baby once it enters its circulation and hence the movement but you also have to remember that correlation does not mean causation. Also you should know that many of the published papers on this subject use mouse models and they don't always mimic humans although they have been used to make amazing scientific discoveries that have aided many humans and advanced science in ways we could never imagine.

Are you an identical twin or fraternal? Because female fraternal twins are more likely to have twins. Also, my grandmother sister is a fraternal twin and she has twins.

31 and still a virgin, saving myself for my wedding night. I can't think about it too much. Yes I want to be a mom but the whole thing makes me nervous. To making a baby to having a baby.
I assure you that losing your virginity is 1. Not all that amazing, it's gonna be a little awkward and 2. It'll be over soon enough, so don't worry too much about it hurting when you start. If it hurts unbearably, something may be wrong, go to your doc. And as for having a baby, I don't have that experience so..
I'm 29 and still a virgin as well. I'm not waiting for my wedding night but am waiting for someone worth it I guess plus other life things that I've paid more attention too over the years. When I think about it too much it brings on a lot of anxiety and pressure but it's nice to know I'm not the only one! :)

(I'm taking a class in college right now that talked about pregnancy sooo some of those facts are wrong lol you can indeed have sex during pregnancy. In fact, it's encouraged by doctors! I hope that brings a little more hope for the guys out there that were discouraged hearing that sex doesn't happen during this time lol)

Most girls are more mature than guys when they're younger. It is amazing that women have babies in their stomach for 9 months and it is weird that some guys say that their stomach hurts because girls deal with a lot more. Labour happens when the baby is ready and strong enough and so on but the nipple thing is if you just really want/need to have the baby and that might help.

I was born three months earlier then I was supposed too. Then I got my first tooth when I was about three months. So if I would have stayed "in" as long as I was supposed to, I would have been born with at least one tooth.

The heartburn story could be true. My first pregnancy i had crazy heartburn, my daughter had a head of blond hair. Second pregnancy, little to no heartburn at all and my second daughter was almost bald. Pregnant with number 3 now, and heartburn again so i think this baby is going to have a lot of hair lol

Fraternal twins has a genetic factor. Because to get fraternal twins, the mother has to release two eggs in one cycle. This part can genetically be passed down to the mother.
Identical twins is random and does not have a genetic component.

the girl's developing their eggs will in the womb is true! interesting enough, when your grandmother was pregnant, your mother already had her eggs in her, meaning you were also in your grandmother's womb. and yes, girls literally do mature faster than boys. it's a process called myelination.

Feet don’t GROW, but they do go up a size. It’s because your body releases a hormone called relaxin during pregnancy that allows the tendons in your hips to loosen so that you can give birth. But relaxin also affects other tendons, including the ones in your feet. So as those tendons relax, your foot becomes a bit longer.

Number 10 is due to classical conditioning. The body learns to associate a stimuli (baby crying) with a response (needing to breastfeed) - It’s the body’s way of preparing you and your child for survival
Actually on the meconium thing, it’s really rare, but some babies will poop the meconium in the womb during birth I think and the baby can even breathe it in, and it can be toxic. (I know this because I had MAS (meconium aspiration syndrome) when I was born leaving me in the NICCU for 5 days)

Fact 17. the uterus expanding does hurt! While the uterus is expanding your organs are moved and even your rib cage moves to make room which it very painful than you have the settle down pains after birth which is everything going back to normal..... also painful.

As an aspiring labor and delivery nurse I can provide a couple clarifications! For the most part, everything was true I think: just somewhat exaggerated. Most women go into labor on their own but there gets to be a point where a woman can be tired of having it in her when she is close to her due date and the baby is fully developed. That’s where things like nipple stimulation come in handy. It releases oxytocin-a hormone that induces uterine contractions along with milk let down. The whole reason why it releases oxytocin is because stimulation on the nipples can seem to your body like a baby is there and so oxytocin is released for milk let down. Some other things such as eating spicy foods, having sex, etc. have been said to help bring on labor but a lot of this is not scientifically proven(except sex does release oxytocin!) Sex, in non-high-risk pregnancies is safe most of the time. I think what the article was trying to say is some women feel to suck to have sex. But, in reality, it just depends on the woman; some might even have a higher sex drive during pregnancy! Also, there aren’t just two holes down there: there are three. The anus, vagina and urethra. The urethra is just outside of the vaginal opening so many people think that women urinate from their vagina. The pee thing is totally true! The meconium(aka: babies first poop) does develop early and is MOSTLY only eliminated outside of the womb after it is born. That being said, if the baby is in distress-which can happen for a multitude of reasons-they may poop in the womb. And you were pretty much right in the beginning! Normally it’s either period or sex if a women is within their reproductive years(the only exceptions are rare cases). If you have any questions let me know! I love learning and talking about this stuff.
You should make a video specifically reacting to BIRTH AND LABOR facts. Some of it is pretty crazy!
The no sex fact in mostly the first trimester is because of the sickness and tiredness not because you'd hurt the baby (you really can't) and you can't touch the boobs because sometimes they can get really sensitive and painful as the pregnancy goes on and women start developing milk.
The fact about meconium is not a 100% right. Sometimes the Baby allredy makes the first poo inside. Than the water gets green.
