I've had a rubbish year with cauli and Broccoli this year, even my purple and green SP is struggling (the dam rats got it!) I was contemplating sowing more carrots in a large box i've made for them in poly, but wasn't sure if it was a waste of time or not, I'll give it a go, its filled with soil and ready for seeds!

Got me garlic in, like yourself, split a shop bought clove (white and purple varieties) but I suspended them over an inch of water for 5 days to aid rooting. Also planted a load of onion seed to see how they go over the winter. I still intend to plant sets but thought I'd give the seeds a go too. Cheers Ivan 👍

Great advice again Ivan, Many thanks for the videos I've learnt so much as a first time greenhouse and container grower. I've had a bumper crop of Tomatoes, peppers, chillies, peas and beans so much so I've acquired another greenhouse. We've also been watching your videos on your cooking channel and we've had great success with preserving. It's funny how many friends you seem to acquire when you start growing your own. 🤣😉

I planted some broadbeans about 3 weeks ago indoors but they’ve gone extremely leggy. Hopefully going to build some raised beds in next few weeks to start my gardening journey. Great content Ivan as ever. Cheers
