    Momma Sue, you are a real trooper. I have enjoyed wading over the years and I’ve also bathed in the summer fun. Catching those wonderful smallies makes it all worth it. Fish on!

    Where did you get the green and white bobbers? What company made them?

      These are actually from a bin at Walmart that had several colors and types. I'm sure they're available elsewhere online though!

    I have a question. What should I do if a slip bobber keeps hitting against the sinker and keeping the hook/bait from going down?
    I am still learning because I spent years hating fishing because of trauma. So I appreciate any information you can give.

      Hello. The sinker (split shot) should be below the bobber and the bobber stopper (bead) above the bobber.

      @WolfsDE Год назад

      @@MittenFisher I haven't been able to find bobber stoppers at my local Walmart. I will have to see if they have them elsewhere.
      It is catching on the split shot being below the bobber. I was wondering if I should find bobber stoppers for this reason or if there is a trick I am not doing right on it.

      @@WolfsDE might try lowering the shot shot down to help that center of gravity as it sounds like it's wanting to swing around on itself and get tangled?

      @@MittenFisher Possibly. I am not sure. I appreciate any advice. I will try to see how a bobber stopper works below the bobber, let you know and if that doesn't work, maybe I try something else, maybe a bigger sinker, maybe a different set up, I don't know. Because I do get more catches on bluegill, crappie, rock bass, redear sunfish, when I have a bobber.
      I get more catches on largemouth bass, catfish, carp, small mouth bass, etc without it.
      I have noticed that pattern so far.
      Also, do you know of any scents that don't involve oils for bass? I didn't realize oil based scents don't work (because of the oil not mixing with water, which I didn't even think about). So anything that can help scent wise to increase the odds of catching bass is helpful.

      @@WolfsDE garlic is a tried and true scent. So strong it sinks deep into your baits and doesn't easily fade away.

    Keep in kind people bobbers really don't rock but the do bounce cause a fishes first reaction to tension is to dive not swim side to side.

    This vid is way to basic. Should only be watched for total beginners. What about slip bobbers and using weights to float the bobber lower in the water so there is less resistance felt by the fish

      Probably splitting his content into multiple videos. Idk I thought he was well spoken and quite helpful for noobies some people are just starting out with their fishing journeys and he explained the basics quite well. And let's be honest if you looking up videos on bobbers your most likely newer and considering you saw this video you probably are too or just want to be condescending.
