Exactly what I was looking for. We had some really hot years and I lost several chickens due to the heat. And the automatic watering system is perfect. Thank you.
That's a great question and a good point to consider. Thanks! We are in South Texas and we get very few overnight freezes. The issue only applies for our laying hens because we do not raise meat chickens in the winter. The few freezes we did get we just filled manual wateres for that night.
Great question! I was concerned about that too. The type of waterer cools the water down as it drips down the bell. It's really not hot at all. Also if you have issues you could switch to a lighter color water hose to help with heat deflection.
We are still tiny! That pasture there is only 5 acres and we do almost everything in there. We have a few more but nothing to brag about. We are starting off small and growing much larger soon. Stay tuned for some exciting farm expansion! Thanks for watching!

Now that is a very nice set up, well done.👍
Thanks! We've wanted to do this for a long time!
Love it 100%❤
Thank you!
Just some advice that I was given, keeping your birds wet is a bad idea. I have those same misters and they will soak your birds. Nice looking coop
Thanks for the advice! And thanks for watching!
How do you keep it from freezing come winter?

How to tou keep the water in the hose from getting hot if its stretched across the field.

Sand in the black counterpart.
Sand is a great option! Also don't have to worry about freeze! Thanks!
How many acres do you have?
