I love how transparent you are with your views and the behind the scenes of having a business and trying to buy materials from places that align with your views
omg, the orange underpainting on "the immortals" looked so otherworldly and dewy and immersive during those painting shots, and music by louie zong??? two of my absolute fav youtube humans!
I am also a visual artist who deals with chronic health issues and I love your videos so much. I find a lot of inspiration in watching your creative process and I find your art to be deeply expressive and moving! Thanks for these videos
First and foremost I want to send good and healing vibes your way. Life sucks sometimes in the worst way. Your work and videos are so inspiring to many including myself. I love how you have so many projects going on. Aries club!
obsessed with the two paintings you made for the gallery!! some of my favorite parts of spring are the spring ephemerals and the migratory birds coming back
I love the idea of getting client work and admin stuff done at the beginning of the week to that you have more mental space for creative personal projects later in the week! I’ll have to try that!!
I’m chronically ill and it’s been a lifetime dream of mine to create daily and have my own studio. Your videos are very calming, inspiring, and give me hope!
I binged all your videos, they bring me so much comfort and inspiration as an artist. Watching your videos inspire me to get back into making art I love and trusting the process. Just wanna say you are very well spoken and to keep doing what you love
tip with underglazes, i use them alot in my ceramics and you can totally mix the colors! I personally add in white to a lot of my underglazes to dilute them and make them more pastel :)
I don’t think I’ve ever related to you more than I do in this vid! The pistachio shells in the car, the treat for being “brave when having stitches removed and not crying”, ordering the wrong size tubes for prints and later discovering they were ordered from a morally awful company… these are all 💯 things I would do 😂 thank you for sharing! Your painting is looking incredible! Will ‘The Immortals’ be available as a print? I’m in love with it!
Hi! I found you through the recent sketchbook tour and was so inspired by your playful style, use of different materials, and the way you are moving through life with chronic illness. I've been watching older vlogs too. Thanks for sharing your process with us! One thing that stands out to me is all the different inputs you have to your creative practices (like different types of classes), so inspiring! You have a new fan in me. 🙂
i love so much that you talk about money!!! seems like a lot of ppl are so hesitant to talk about money (which is just kinda part of our culture I think, and probably fear of online backlash which is VALID). anyways its just great to hear you talk about how much you actually make from art markets, how much you actually spend on stickers and prints, alla that.
I enjoy seeing how you combine your traditional work with digital. I'm still trying to work out how digital fit into my creative practice so its great to see an example. Thank you for sharing!
As soon as I see a video from you, I immediately get the feeling and the motivation to draw and just doodle or sketch. Please keep making such videos, I love them and watched them literally a thousand times. Just keep running on vibes 😂
Kristen! Your videos are more and more inspiring, you are so productive and creative right now, just incredible. I am so inspired by your work. Although I tend to dream of drawing and painting more because I'm currently in hospital (for four months now) being treated for leukemia. You really are a great role model, especially because I know that you, too, have been through a history of illness... - and now, despite sometimes having little strength, you can do so, so much. Keep up your creative work!! Hugs from Germany
Sometimes I just rewatch the old vids while I wait for a new littletinyegg. Your vids really make me want to prioritize doodling and more illustrative styles in my practice! As a young queer art person, I see so much of my dreams and inspiration in your videos :,)
You have such a warm and comforting energy pouring from your videos. I can’t believe you’re accomplishing so much while still having to deal with all the health issues. I went through half a year of feeling like a lifeless rag doll due to what I think was long covid. On my worse days I could barely handle simple daily tasks (and I wasn’t even employed back then!) I ended up envying people who could go for a walk at the part without getting fatigued. Not a healthy mindset at all. Seeing people like you gives me a lot of needed support and motivation to not give up on living a full life, no matter how good or bad my body feels today. I’m sure that you’re strong enough to deal with all the hardships in your life and I wish you healing completely so you can have even more energy to share the joy of life with those who need it ❤
I love your videos and they are like a warm hug. You're casual, friendly, and I love your art. I love having your videos on while I am working around the house and then I get done and sit down and draw!!
I'm a disabled autistic woman and self-taught artist in France, dreaming to move in Canada. After more than a decade of struggles with my health (immune disease, burn out, PTSD) I've finally started to create full-time since 2023. Your videos give me so much hope and courage and help me to keep doing what matters the most to me in this crazy world. Your art and your vibe are soft, generous and comforting, so, thanks for that !
So many gems in this video! Shout out to Dickies, love it. Also definitely get a piston convertor if you haven't already for your fountain pens so you can use waterproof inks. I've been happy with the Roher & Klinger "Sketch Ink" series. Their color Thea is my jam!
I would absolutely love to be able to see your paintings in person someday... you're probably the artist that inspires me the most rn! I just love how you represent nature and colors and life! I wanna paint like you someday!
I like your videos. I’m a late blooming artist in the Netherlands and it’s inspiring to see how other artists make a living with there talent. Keep on the good work 👋🏼
Loved watching this style vlog, I’m always fascinated what full time artists do. Also I’m anxiously awaiting the return of the tuna clay magnet?? Can’t wait for your shop update! That washi tape is a must- have
Hey Kris. I’m a wanna-be artist in Australia who totally feels your vlogs as a big warm hug. I’m making my way through your back catalogue and loving your super chill vibe, genuine insights and plain ol funny video effects. Erin x
You were super brave and you 100% deserved to enjoy that crunch wrap supreme!🌮 ❤ Ahhhh, these paintings and stickers are so flipping gorgeous! Incredible work. This week, typical or not, felt very packed and filled with art and life and all the admin duties and wow, you managed to squeeze in time to film and edit a video? Like damn, slow your roll, you some kind of superhero or something?😅😂
ah I love your videos so so much! I am a chronically ill teen and I love all the other art RUclipsrs so much but it is so nice to see other people who deal with this pain and tiredness day to day just like I do. you are so super cool and very inspiring to meee :))
I feel you on the infusion. Every 8 weeks I get an infusion called Ultomiris. It should be a 2 hour infusion but I’m at the cancer center for 7 to 8 hours because I’m allergic to it so it needs to be infused a very slow rate. I get 5 premeds 2 of them are Benadryl and Ativan. Then I react 5 minutes into the infusion and get more Benadryl. I sleep for hours and hours afterward. My next infusion is in 3 days. Fun times. Anyway, I love your work!
I love your videos! So thrilled every time a new video pops up on my feed! Love love love the playful colours and shapes in your work, I always feel inspired to pick up my sketchbook
I just found your channel and have certainty in subscribing. I absolutely love what you do. I have undeveloped ability in drawing and painting. I live on disability for schizophrenia. I have a sister in Montana. I spend my time practicing guitar. To support myself as you are seems so pleasant! I would like a book on what art supplies to buy and how to use them. I'm pitching this idea to you though it has probably been done. I look forward to more videos!
Little late to the party here, but Nectar is my new favorite yellow underglaze! Deep yellow is another fave, but I tend to go for more earthy/mustard-y yellows 😊
really love your videos! So much so that I finally recovered my youtube account password in order to comment and subscribe and everything. I saw a talens art creation sketchbook at the store today and picked it up because of your mention of it. Then I found some crayons on the sidewalk on the way home, and now I'm making art while hanging out with you! thanks :)
I always say “yay” when there’s a new video! I watched your videos when I was pregnant and now I watch them while I sit here with my baby boy getting some inspiration and daydreaming about when I can get back to some painting and ceramics.
Thank you for sharing some of your daily life with us. And thank you for researching Uline. I am still trying to convince managers where I work to stop buying stuff from them. Also, there is an artist on RUclips who often fountain pens, and I am pretty sure he also recommended the Kakuno pens for drawing. I can't for the life of me remember his name, though. Maybe someone else here will chime in with his name or RUclips name. Oh, and I love how you use your pre-school teaching experience in your communications with clients now.
I do look forward to your videos! I treated myself to a set of Stabilo Woody 3 in 1 after loving sketching with a black Woody then dabbing water on it. All the best, Jo
Yay! Came here right after Leigh's vlog, what a fun way to spend the evening.. You're doing wonderful work and I'm glad you share your art and life with us 😊 have a good week! 🌻
sending well wishes for your health- I had IVIG infusions last year as well and the Benadryl certainly wipes you out ! fist bump to the chronically ill gorlies who keep making stuff happen despite it all! ❤
This was so cool to see what goes on in your day to day life as an artist. I am currently a graphic designer and desperately yearning to be more creative in my daily life and hope to potentially one day make the leap into being an illustrator (as this corporate advertising life is not it!! let me tell you). I've been binging your videos and they've brought me so much inspiration and hope that I can one day maybe also live a lifestyle as creative as yours. Love your art and videos!😊🥚✨
I will never skip a littletinyegg video
Same! Very happy to have stumbled upon her channel!
me too
me too! she warms my heart :)
My favorite thing about your videos is that you're not super "RUclips-y". Way more watchable than a lot of other art tubers
I love how transparent you are with your views and the behind the scenes of having a business and trying to buy materials from places that align with your views
Walking is so underrated. It really clears my mind and I'm able to notice things I normally wouldn't. It's so refreshing.
I love how your studio is developing and looking like your own studio home 😊

Hearing you speak Spanish made me realize how much I really need get my head back in the game. I should be fluent by now. Lol! Muchas gracias!
My favorite thing about spring is the water warming up, so the creeks and lakes start babbling and moving and teeming with life again!
I’m chronically ill and it’s been a lifetime dream of mine to create daily and have my own studio. Your videos are very calming, inspiring, and give me hope!

I love love love those 2 paintings you did for the gallery. The dark colors and all the streaks of grass look so good together ❤
Thanks so much 😊
"5 ft 6 on a good day" cracked me up!! i've been feeling really inspired by your work lately :-) lovely video
I'm so happy you've discovered fountain pens. They make such a big difference in how much I journal!

it will once I get the files back from the photographer!

Having the light come back is my favorite part of spring, the dark winter is so difficult! I also love seeing everything start growing again.❤
I'm a painter and illustrator too and your videos make me SO INSPIRED!!!
As soon as I see a video from you, I immediately get the feeling and the motivation to draw and just doodle or sketch. Please keep making such videos, I love them and watched them literally a thousand times. Just keep running on vibes 😂

Favorite thing about spring - the little splashes of color. Oh and all the happy borbs doing borb things. ^_^🐦
I love hearing the birds come back!!

I laughed at the emails comment because yes that shit is the easiest part 🤣 having the emails come in is the hard part lol
Love these videos Kris. Your content is so welcoming and we love coming along for the ride!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

your ceramic painting looks so pretty! (I don't know what it's called but you know what I mean) 🥰
Such a fun week in the life video! Stay well my friend. Chronic illness is challenging for sure. The stickers were perfect!
