Been an MJ user since early 2000. You could just have bought a small line type phone with all in one (with keypad, ear, and mic piece) just like a regular handset so will not be bulky. Unless you plan to leave that landline phone with relatives in PI. Not sure when MJ came out with a cell phone app you could also use that just have your cell phone login to a Wifi. My niece's husband's father using MJ as their local phone in the PI to the US with local area code to the US (activated in US).
Yes we are using the telephone at home (Philippines) then I’m using cellphone also so I could still receive calls and text messages when I’m away from home. We also have the small line type telephone for back up.
I want to get this not ready yet. Anyway my wife and I have a home near ICM mall

Magic jack is like Landlinenless phone with computer access only needed and wire plus no monthly fee but its not wireless you need to get the cord to amake a call but is landlineless device for some Telephone connector network. you just need a laptop or desktop computer and call someone.enjoy calling

You’re welcome. This is actually a AA battery operated speaker phone and it does not require AC power for operation. The battery last long too.

You can use the magic jack number anywhere in the US and Philippines. Yes you can use it to call your US bank as long as you are connected to an internet or connected to a hotspot. I have a Philippine phone 📱 that I carry all the time with a hotspot and my US phone is always connected to the hotspot of my Philippine phone. Anywhere I go in the Philippines as long as my US phone is connected to my Philippine phone hotspot, I receive calls and text messages from the US.

Yes madam pwdeng pwde. I can still use magic jack kahit NASA labas ako ng bahay or even out of town.
