Very great set up! I’m setting one up for my 1st neocaradina shrimp. So I was thinking of using some aragonite to help with the ph, is that ok? Thanks for the great videos🙂👍🏻
Hmm I've never used that but it looks like it would work similar to the crushed coral. I would just watch the params to make sure it's not leeching and increasing your TDS while cycling.
Wow. You're a Natural! Very dramatic, but simple to do. NICE!
Thank you! I got a bunch more scapes coming in the near future, just gotta edit the videos together!

Nice set up Bobby!
Thank you! It's actually already cycled hahaha
The video production and audio is on point.
Thank you so much!
can i just use thoroughly rinsed regular sand intended for landscaping?
It might be higher in silicates but for a neo setup it should be fine.
Excellent video brother 👍👍👍
Thank you very much! I got a bunch more set up videos to do in the next few months as well :)
How long do you have to wait to put the shrimp in the tank
until it is cycled, usually 3-4 weeks.
Looks good 👍
Thank you! Wait till you see the other ones ;)
Thank You !
No, no. Thank YOU!
is there any links for that black blasting sand
TSC stores should have it. Black Diamond blasting sand is the brand.
is it good for shrimp?
@@motoglows i use it in all my neo tanks!
Quick & simple, what size was the tank and how much crushed coral did u add. Thank you from NYC
Thank you! 10 gallons and I would say maybe 3/4 of a cup? I kind of eye it out these days.
@@BobMossNanoTanks thank you
Thanks for another video. Where did you get the sand? What brand is it? Thanks
Black Diamond Blasting Sand IIRC. You can get it from Tractor Supply Co. (TSC)
@@BobMossNanoTanks I don't know why but I thought you were Canadian. We don't have that company or product here.
@@Sue.5776 I am Canadian and yes we do lolol. TSC is in Canada.
Why do you add crushed coral to your neo tanks?
It helps add carbonates back in the water, which helps to buffer the pH.
Is dragon stone better than siriyu
It is inert, seiryu stone will leech. It contains calcium carbonates so will slowly increase your TDS over time.
Boring
thank you
