Chris Janway Exactly. The Old Testament is very important. It tells us where everybody came from. And you have to get the people right. If you don’t get the people right then the whole prophecy and everything in the Bible is off. Pastors need to be telling us who the Hebrew Israelites are.

Without sin, what grace would have forgiveness? I doubt that god would see the wold in black and white like you seem to do. Igor that is why we tell them biblical how wrong what their doing is not out of judgement but out of love for them so they don't go to hell, God cannot stand sin therefore we try to tell people to walk in righteousness, not self righteousness, but righteous as God sees it, it is biblical Deuteronomy 22:5 says it clearly men should not dress as women and women should not dress as men. Romans 1:25. It is an abomination in God's eyes the problem is,they okay sin and think t they can still be saved. It doesn't work that way, if you love God you sacrifice self, daily. You can't justify living in sin and think just because you believe your gonna be saved, the book of revelations says your have to be on fire for the love of God, and if not he will spew there out of his mouth, by following the word of God and living the word we not saved by faith alone but by the very actions we present to all. for if we believe we have to live it and do as God says in his word. Period no way around it. the bible says not all get to heaven, they will say Lord didn't I prophecy in your name, didn't i cast out demons in your name, and he will say get there from me I know you not, why would he say that, because even though they did these things outwardly their heart was far from him by the sins they committed, if you love him you follow his word, his direction!!! I have to go in the middle, take note of Ray Comfort- God has judged, we are called to tell people about what God says but not to judge by our own ideas apart from God. Danny I agree with what you're trying to say, but evangelism involves memorizing scripture not so we can judge but so that Gods word and judgment can be shown through his people

Bible is a reflection of God, and I do not believe God condemns those who use it to point out the shortcomings in others...I mean, I see my faults reflected in the Word, and makes me realize I DO need a savior...and this is the first step on the road to salvation.
I thought Ray was thoughtful and courageous. So many Christians know what God's word says and they know in their Spirit that they are to correct a brother in love, and choose not to, for fear of man, or their labels. Yet, Ray moves forward and plainly tells him we are to live our lives in a manner that pleases God and that represents Him. Victor may believe in God but outwardly he is living like the rest of the world around him. I would have invited Victor to church. His church seems to be bending God's word to satisfy the worldly views and desires of its congregants, instead of the other way around.

I was once a bisexual and ever since I surrendered myself to Christ, I died to my sins, was born again and now I'm a new person and love only righteousness. I realised I was just confused. Satan is the father of lies, and God saved me from the strong chains Satan put on me. I walk with Christ now, not Satan.

I take my hat off to Ray for confronting this man! I'm too scared to go up to someone and challenge them like this! I think the key phrase this man said was - "Well my friends accept me the way I am!" But what about God? On judgement day ALL of us will stand before God - some will have Jesus who will step in and say - they are mine, but there will be others who will have NO ONE to defend them, they will be on their own and they won't be able to point to their neighbour or to people like Hitler and say "well I'm better than that person!" Our 'case' is ours - nobody else's. Tried to explain that to an atheist friend, years ago, but he kept on about being better than others! Feel for Victor - he really doesn't understand his position before God! I hope he seeks the Lord while He may be found!
If I remember correctly, I was a filthy sinner even after I heard, understood, and placed my trust in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. I was sealed for eternity with the Holy Spirit the very moment I believed. Over the years, God has been slowly changing my heart about things and bring more and more understanding about his ways. Now that I understand, I am able to walk in his ways more and more. I'm still a filthy sinner, but I'm a saved filthy sinner, who is learning to walk the Christian walk. This is not a process that happens quickly, but I know I'm saved no matter what and safe in the hands of my Savior.
Amen! A traveling evangelist just spoke at my church about that passage that talks about how we are the clay and God is the potter. It takes time and harsh work to remove all the impurities and oxygen from the clay, and that's even before you can even think about shaping it! Then you need to shape it into what it needs to be before putting it in the oven to set it. God's working on us, even if we don't see it, because He promised us that whatever good work He started, He will finish. Praise the Lord for His perfect love!

You don't get to Heaven by "being a good person" or "doing good works". We are ALL sinners & BAD people. God knows this, accepts this & paid all of our fines for our sins by shedding his blood & dying for us on The Cross. The ONLY way we are accepted into Heaven is by realizing that that we have committed the sins we have committed, REPENTED & then accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior. Doing good works does not do anything to relieve you of the bad things you have done. If you went out & killed someone, were apprehended by the police & stood before the judge in a courtroom of law, you cannot say to the judge, "Yeah, I know that I killed this person, but they were really mean to me & deserved it. All of the other GOOD things I have done should outweigh the BAD, so please forgive me & let me go!" It doesn't work that way here on Earth & it CERTAINLY doesn't work that way on Judgment Day when you stand before God. Peace be with you

Even Ray never mentions that the Bible tells us to "Judge with a righteous judgment." When one is living in sin, we are to judge them and try to get them to repent and come to Christ, thus saving them from eternal separation from God. God bless!

Kathy Tanksley I don’t think the Lord would abandon anyone who calls on His name. Not if they keep confessing their sins. I agree it’s not okay to sin, I’m just saying the Lord will still forgive us if we confess and actually try to change. It’s about our heart. I understand it this way: without Jesus, sin is attached to us or a part of us in a way, and Jesus is coming to destroy all sin in order to establish His kingdom. So what happens to those who would not let their sin be cut away from them... they’re destroyed WITH the sin, as God doesn’t want anyone to be destroyed, which is why He sent Jesus. So I understand how that could happen to a believer, which is why it’s so important to confess our wrongs, I guess. Yes?

I can only imagine what Victor's church teaches in the children's sunday school. He has been duped by Satan and will NOT inherit the Kingdom. He practices idolatry and sexual sin- he loves his sin far more than GOD and is lost. True Christians give up their lives and allow Christ to live through them. Victor insists that Christ live through him without giving up his sin.

Victor's heart is broken which is why he is in bondage to this way of living. Ray's approach to him is all wrong. Preaching "turn or burn" at him is not going to get Victor's heart healed. The right approach is to address the issues of his heart and what it is the brought him to this place in his life and get him healed up.
there is no excuse for any sin "depending on our circumstances", its still wrong and it still separates us from God, which is why Jesus came. while we were still sinners Christ died for us, so when we make him lord of our lives, we cannot continue in those sins, we become new people, so then how can you be a disciple if you are holding a sin in front of Him as if you want to keep hold of it? if He is your Lord you let it go! We must approach all people in love but you still have to be firm in addressing the things that keep people from God, Jesus loved all but he was firm in addressing sin and hypocrisy! Victor is clearly holding on to a sin he enjoys and just because he knows God knows all about it doesn't make it a seal of approval, he knows all of our sins public and secret, he loves us and hates the sin but its the sin that prevents us enjoying more of his freedom and liberation in Him, and betters our testimony for his glory!

Ok, women wear pants, are they only for men? But a Christian women who wears pants but does not pump up her muscles, stomp around imitating a male's walk, acting rough and whistling at other women is not lying about her gender. Inspiring way of sharing the gospel. What earthly joy do we really get in telling people they're sinners just as I am but God is exalted when His laws are being honored.
We all have our sins that we continually struggle with. Those sins are like weights. Some sins/weight we can lift immediately. Others sins/heavier weight take continual practice to be able to lift. If God tells you that must lift X amount of weight in order to get into heaven and you try and fail that doesn't mean you just give up and say "Welp God loves me anyways so I'm just going to continue sinning/being weak". This means that weight/sin is your test that God has laid before you. What you do is you workout/practice everyday, or as often as you possibly can, until you can finally lift said amount of weight. God sent Jesus because he loved us so much and understood we will not always succeed in rising above our sins, but what he does NOT want us to do is simply use Jesus as an excuse to not even try to rise above our sins. God sent Jesus so that we may be tested and TRY to overcome our sins after we've already sinned/failed to lift that weight. Jesus is our second chance, our fighting chance. I thought Ray was thoughtful and courageous. So many Christians know what God's word says and they know in their Spirit that they are to correct a brother in love, and choose not to, for fear of man, or their labels. Victor may believe in God but outwardly he is living like the rest of the world around him. I would have invited Victor to church. I was listening to this video while doing homework and was very surprised when I looked up.
If I remember correctly, I was a filthy sinner even after I heard, understood, and placed my trust in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. I was sealed for eternity with the Holy Spirit the very moment I believed. Over the years, God has been slowly changing my heart about things and bring more and more understanding about his ways. Now that I understand, I am able to walk in his ways more and more. I'm still a filthy sinner, but I'm a saved filthy sinner, who is learning to walk the Christian walk. This is not a process that happens quickly, but I know I'm saved no matter what and safe in the hands of my Savior.
Amen! A traveling evangelist just spoke at my church about that passage that talks about how we are the clay and God is the potter. It takes time and harsh work to remove all the impurities and oxygen from the clay, and that's even before you can even think about shaping it! Then you need to shape it into what it needs to be before putting it in the oven to set it. God's working on us, even if we don't see it, because He promised us that whatever good work He started, He will finish. Praise the Lord for His perfect love!

You don't get to Heaven by "being a good person" or "doing good works". We are ALL sinners & BAD people. God knows this, accepts this & paid all of our fines for our sins by shedding his blood & dying for us on The Cross. The ONLY way we are accepted into Heaven is by realizing that that we have committed the sins we have committed, REPENTED & then accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior. Doing good works does not do anything to relieve you of the bad things you have done. If you went out & killed someone, were apprehended by the police & stood before the judge in a courtroom of law, you cannot say to the judge, "Yeah, I know that I killed this person, but they were really mean to me & deserved it. All of the other GOOD things I have done should outweigh the BAD, so please forgive me & let me go!" It doesn't work that way here on Earth & it CERTAINLY doesn't work that way on Judgment Day when you stand before God. Peace be with you

You must admit, though, that as humans we all still make mistakes, which means we are TECHNICALLY not perfect, however, Christ has made us “perfect.” That is logical, right? Kathy Tanksley I don’t think the Lord would abandon anyone who calls on His name. Not if they keep confessing their sins. I agree it’s not okay to sin, I’m just saying the Lord will still forgive us if we confess and actually try to change. It’s about our heart. I understand it this way: without Jesus, sin is attached to us or a part of us in a way, and Jesus is coming to destroy all sin in order to establish His kingdom. So what happens to those who would not let their sin be cut away from them... they’re destroyed WITH the sin, as God doesn’t want anyone to be destroyed, which is why He sent Jesus. So I understand how that could happen to a believer, which is why it’s so important to confess our wrongs, I guess. Yes?

Yes in Jesus name! Everytime in Bible studies in our church, when it's my turn to report my insight. I always remind them about their responsibility as a new Creation in the Kingdom of God. I can only imagine what Victor's church teaches in the children's sunday school. He has been duped by Satan and will NOT inherit the Kingdom. He practices idolatry and sexual sin- he loves his sin far more than GOD and is lost. True Christians give up their lives and allow Christ to live through them. Victor insists that Christ live through him without giving up his sin.

Victor's heart is broken which is why he is in bondage to this way of living. Ray's approach to him is all wrong. Preaching "turn or burn" at him is not going to get Victor's heart healed. The right approach is to address the issues of his heart and what it is the brought him to this place in his life and get him healed up.

there is no excuse for any sin "depending on our circumstances", its still wrong and it still separates us from God, which is why Jesus came. while we were still sinners Christ died for us, so when we make him lord of our lives, we cannot continue in those sins, we become new people, so then how can you be a disciple if you are holding a sin in front of Him as if you want to keep hold of it? if He is your Lord you let it go! We must approach all people in love but you still have to be firm in addressing the things that keep people from God, Jesus loved all but he was firm in addressing sin and hypocrisy! Victor is clearly holding on to a sin he enjoys and just because he knows God knows all about it doesn't make it a seal of approval, he knows all of our sins public and secret, he loves us and hates the sin but its the sin that prevents us enjoying more of his freedom and liberation in Him, and betters our testimony for his glory!

Well said Eric. What many commenters on here do not realize is cross dressing is the same as a lie. He is a man and he is purposely wearing makeup and hairstyle and clothing to appear as a woman. Ok, women wear pants, are they only for men? But a Christian women who wears pants but does not pump up her muscles, stomp around imitating a male's walk, acting rough and whistling at other women is not lying about her gender. She still behaves in a feminine way. No lie there.

Inspiring way of sharing the gospel. What earthly joy do we really get in telling people they're sinners just as I am but God is exalted when His laws are being honored.
We all have our sins that we continually struggle with. Those sins are like weights. Some sins/weight we can lift immediately. Others sins/heavier weight take continual practice to be able to lift. If God tells you that must lift X amount of weight in order to get into heaven and you try and fail that doesn't mean you just give up and say "Welp God loves me anyways so I'm just going to continue sinning/being weak". This means that weight/sin is your test that God has laid before you. What you do is you workout/practice everyday, or as often as you possibly can, until you can finally lift said amount of weight.
God sent Jesus because he loved us so much and understood we will not always succeed in rising above our sins, but what he does NOT want us to do is simply use Jesus as an excuse to not even try to rise above our sins. God sent Jesus so that we may be tested and TRY to overcome our sins after we've already sinned/failed to lift that weight.
Jesus is our second chance, our fighting chance. You must always fight to become a better person.
He's not a bigot. Obviously he wasn't offended or he would have walked away. His hair is absolutely beautiful. I pray that He draws close to Jesus and feels His love surround him.
