Most of those pretty fancy skids will cause hang ups Neo, 3D printed stuff especially bodies usually stress break way easier than Abs plastic like an actual hardbody material. Not sure how much luck dieing black cage you would have. You can use Ryt dye and lightly boil water with the dye for short period of time, longer in the dye the darker whatever color your usually would be. If you paint it hit that nylon cage good with some 320 maybe 400 grit should do it and good plastic primer. I can tell ta from experience no matter what it'll start to flake off. Flatter paint will adhere better to the nylon as well. Hope ya get it back going quickly man! That Capra is very nice looking rig. I've almost considered getting another one myself. If you have questions about the dye I can help hit me up, I used to dye RPM parts all the time back in the day for everyone that races at our local track.
Thank you dungeon! That’s the info I needed. I don’t think dying black plastic a light color would work very well. I figured paint would eventually chip but good to know that flat adheres better. Great info thank you!
Thanks Brent. That odd noise ended up being the new Injora rear drive shaft I just installed. One end just seized up and wouldn’t pivot in one axis. lol 🤷♂️
The click... It sounds like a spun bearing in the transmission. I had same noise, different rig, and found it was an unseated bearing from the plastic transmission housing moving to and fro. Couldn't press it back in do to warn out housing. Just a suggestion cuz I know its annoying and sounds like it's going to bind or break!
11:23 your front drive shaft looks out of phase (hard to tell), that shouldn't cause the clicking sound but does cause weird vibration. Edit: Maybe not, it's hard to tell on video
Good catch but. I did make sure my drive shafts were in phase. So these were good. You notice I. The video the noise started when I gassed it up that last climb. I have the transmission out but haven’t had a chance to crack it open yet. I’ll be doing that today. Hopefully it’s something simple and quick.

@@NEO-RC very welcome
Well at least it looks good bumper about the odd nosie hope its a easy fix

@NEO-RC good at least it was a easy one no internal problems

Awesome, I’ll look for that. Haven’t had chance to look really close yet but thank you!
4:39 you always blame the camera on that spot! j/k lol
lol yeah, my camera mount hangs really low from the RC controller so when the truck goes up I have to adjust a little. Yes I do though lol
Is this a different Capra? I thought you made it into a truggy style crawler 🤙
Same Capra, that gray shell was just a clip on 3D Printed body cover. It broke pretty easily but I’ll try and fix it.
Did the motor mount screws come loose and the pinion and spur gear lost their mesh?
Got the transmission out but haven’t had a chance to open it yet but I’ll do that today so we’ll see.
