That is the fault of the specific trend of nobody in Bleach admitting they know both Ichigo and Isshin. And the overall trend of nobody who knows anything about the Shibas saying squat to Ichigo, so even HE doesn't know. Plus the Shibas are side characters at best and they don't even appear often enough to stay constant in people's minds. Not to mention this arc is set up where who Masaki was matters twice as much as who Isshin is. So I can't really blame anybody who either doesn't know, or doesn't care.
Soi Fon said what every Soul Reaper there was thinking. They'd just watched *thousands* of their squadmates get slaughtered, including their Head Captain, and now Squad Zero shows up acting like rockstars looking for a rockstar welcome? When they said "We're going to rebuild the Court Guard Squads", my first thought was "If you'd helped out a few days ago, there wouldn't be so much to rebuild". Tenjiro may be right about them all having their own jobs to do, but they could have been just a *little* more sensitive to the fact that these people are grieving right now. Soi Fon did nothing wrong. She acted like a human would in that situation. Someone there had to acknowledge that these guys showed up like they were entering a club, not a battlefield (or a graveyard).
Sooooo if at the end of the day … squad 0 has to protect both the royal palace and seretei what’s the point of having court guard squads?? Just retire them no? Soi fon did nothing wrong??? She lost buddy … as a captain she failed to protect her squad nd seretei… I think that says enough .. just coz you are BAD at your job doesn’t mean other are obliged to help you … like squad 0 had a greater responsibility at that time than the court guards which was to make sure that the royal palace and soul king stays safe ..
And yet there's the problem of taking things for granted. Tenjiro gave her and every one the hard pill to swallow. The fact that they didn't fulfill their duty shows how deep the Soul Society has fallen after a thousand years. Getting tramped by the Sternritter, Captains and Lieutanants' Bankais stolen, and Yamamoto's death, all of it was on them and their lack of intel and unpreparedness. If Squad Zero were to step in and solve every problem, they wouldn't even think of getting better and just become lazy. The fact that they got curbstomped, even lucky to have survived also gave them a wake up call to become stronger so they'll be prepared for the next invasion. I don't think being sensitive would've helped in the long run.
Many people forget that Ginjo and Tsukishima got killed as a human, their soul still go to Soul Society lol
