Such cool boards for the price.

I agree that the pivot can do everything the endeavor can. People underestimate the capabilities of boards due to their own lack of skill.
Esk8 unity did a video talking about street wheels and confidence, criticizing people who act like you need massive pnumatic wheels.

To a certain extent yes, but pneumatics are still in general safer. You can sometimes not see or not pay enough attention to certain obstacles that can really throw you off on thanes. Yeah, you can make the argument that one should always ride with 100% focus but that's not realistic for the majority of people. If you just ride 10-15 miles on roads that you know then sure, thanes can work. 40-60 mile rides where you're exploring different locations? I'd rather have pneumatics.

@@BN99239 “rather have” is perfectly fine and for a super long distance and new territory, id agree. but thanes will give u muchhhh longer range, free roll and performance. “safety” is pretty subjective. id choose a backfire zealot with 85mm caguamas over a 4wd bio board with 8” tires over “safety”. sometimes those boards are so big, hitting imperfections sends the energy right to me with all that weight and too heavy momentum, its “less safe” for me. id be much safer hitting those same imperfections on my flexible 18lbs , low stance, dialed in, tuned in backfire zealot with small wheels. its rare someone rides 35-40 miles without stopping. thats like riding from one state to another

@BN99239 Maybe it's a carbon fiber vs bamboo thing. On my meepo voyager with 90mm urethanes I would ride for 20-30 miles sometimes using top speed like it's a cruise control and had no issue. The deck made a big difference.

I got myself an endeavor 3s a few weeks ago, 116km so far and my first esk8. Had lots of fun, especially if you live in a small town or countryside with bad roads the suspension really shines.
Today my charger stopped working (atleast I hope its only the charger).
A thing I noticed was the bolts from the rear upper control arms getting loose after each ride despite locknuts. You can easily check it by wiggling on the wheels, if it has yome play they are probably loose. Some high strength threadlock solved it for me.
Also fine gravel tends to get stuck between the teeth of the wheel sprocket when riding offroad. Always check after the ride, the belt will thank you

My 2 boards are amazing pavement or dirt. I have the 4WD versions though, a Propel X4S (check out the new replacment, the X4R) and an Ecomobl M24Pro and i love both of them for either use. I live in a rural area and cities around me, like Scranton, are not incredibly rideable unless you want to ride in traffic. For me, the more offroad capable the better, i can use it in more places. Watch the drifts on the loose stuff though, they can catch you out quick!😂

Definitely worth approaching cautiously. But super fun once you get into the groove. Scratches the itch for snowboarding in the hotter seasons.
