Im definitely a dignitas fan, but GarrettG is easily my favorite pro. He's not only fun to watch, hes also a great role model as a person. Can't wait to see him continue to grow in his career
Hes inspiring, he worked so hard for 8 seasons he never gave up and finally he claimed a World Champion title, and now his grind and hard work is paying off because he is dominating with NRG. GarrettGoat
@@ak42069 Wouldnt say theyre washed lol, but they definitely underperformed like a lot of teams that usually are at the top. NRG literally placed the same as Dignitas in the Spring Major, and I wouldnt call NRG washed
Even though I am not an NRG fan at all, you just cannot hate GarrettG. He is always so wholesome and also never toxic. Just the perfect example of a great RLCS player on and off the pitch. And that redirect during the Stockholm major has to be the nastiest redirect I have ever seen in RLCS.
Same. I've never really been an NRG fan as well but the man has been around so long and he's been so consistent from season to season that it's incredible he's able to play at the top level for so long and not get burnt out on it. Not to mention, he's one of the nicest people in RLCS ever.
I've always said that if Turbo was the Greatest of All-Time in RLCS History then Garrett is the Best of All-Time in RLCS history. Greatness is achievements, Best is lvl of play.
By far. The only thing that would've potentially matched that is if Kronovi had retired after leaving G2 in 2019. But now, nothing will beat Garrett's eventual retirement.
There are very few people who have been at the very top of a game for the entirety of its life. And that’s over every game. Garrets done it in rocket league. One of the fastest changing, fastest paced games. Nothing but respect bc that is crazy. To change with the game and learn the mechanics as they come to be better than almost everyone else that’s playing is nuts. Garret in my opinion is the goat of rocket league.
The recovery goal at 2:00 is still one of the best goals of all time to me, as it isn't reliant on fancy mechanical training or some new mechanic, but just good reflexes and pure skill. 10/10.
@@ericandreK I can't quite tell if this is meant sarcastically or not, if not sorry, but if so, yes it was a bit lucky with that setup, but the realization and execution are so flawless.
most incredible thing about garett is, that he manages to stay on top of rocket league...he is always able to change his playstyle, to adapt to the "meta" of Rocket League and never dissappoints. For me, the best Rocket League Player of all time, just because of his consistency.
I've always said that if Turbo was the Greatest of All-Time in RLCS History then Garrett is the Best of All-Time in RLCS history. Greatness is achievements, Best is lvl of play.
Bro all the earlier shots were like…. Is this a champ 2 game? To me nobody was above grand champ then, and the skill ceiling has skyrocketed the last 2 years and garret has flown up with it
if any pro and friend of garret g sees this send him this video and also hes not seeing but hes on my favorite team and he is one of my favourite pros ever
I will say, you can say what you're want about him showing up on the biggest stage but no player has been regarded as a star in RLCS from Season 1 to now. That puts him right up there with Turbo and Kaydop in my opinion.
The commentators ruined half of the clips with either their stutters or misreading of what actually happened (they say flip reset when he didn’t even flip reset).

Funny you say that bc I’m a dignitas fan too but NRG is my favorite team and ApparentlyJack is my favorite pro lmao
Well Said.

Seeing commentators freaking out for what would be simple shots now is amazing.
If those are considered simple shots then I'm just never even trying Rocket League ever again
@@eterty8335 bruh lmao
There hard to do when playing 3v3 best teams in the world that’s why it’s hard
Its more so because its hard to even get those shots off against 3 RLCS players. The fact he can get the setups and finish is amazing

I don't know when that day will come, but the day garrettg retires is going to be the saddest day in this esports history.

Bro Garrett is truly the goat. I fucking love that man. I can’t wait to see him put NA on his back at Los LANgeles 😁
First killer was the carry last time at LAN
@@dstn87godz52 He wasn't carrying. Allu was showing up well and Ayyjayy also had a great lan.

Absolutely insane how far this game has come
If longevity was a player, it would be Garrett.
The season 5 first goal is one of the most mind-blowing RLCS goals ever.
My favorite player in RLCS by far, solid all around and can pop off like crazy
GarrettG's story as a pro and a world champion will always be inspirational, dudes a legend.
Thank you for this amazing compilitation of an amazing player. My favourite Rocket League channel since a long time
GREAT VIDEO! Well done with the goals you fit in this video. Perfect job

the atmosphere at the season 5 LAN is still memerable to this day, never have seen a more energetic crowd
So nice watching him pop off at 7:07
Garett G is one of the most consistent players out there
Probable the most, hes been in every lan event ever
Garret G in a fennec doesn’t exist. He can’t hurt u.
G2:👁👄👁
JSTN´s faces after Garrett´s goals are so funny
It's funny how 0:49 and 7:23 are so similar yet they're 5 years apart and the reaction from the commentators is no different.
The second redirect came out of no where
The first clip brings back so many memories of Sizz and Moses. Mossman esports on top!
garretg in orbit was the best thing ever, i remember those goals because they were insane at that time.
Soooo goood man!!!!
I've always said that if Turbo was the Greatest of All-Time in RLCS History then Garrett is the Best of All-Time in RLCS history. Greatness is achievements, Best is lvl of play.
The greatest NA player of all time. No questions asked.
Keep in mind he was in a team with Turtle, a rlcs commentator now, i think
i miss that old nrg decal with the red that brings back memories
Probably one of the nicest guys in the scene but when he’s on the field he’s a mean dude
Squishy "LET'S F***ING GO!!!" at 7:07 lol
GarrettGoat
what a career already
Legend says to the opponents: What a save!
Goated
Captain America 😍😍😍
The Last G in GarrettG stands for goat

We need to see # of official RLCS matches played on liquipedia
Garret in the good old days
Season 2: already pulling off insane redirects and double taps.
Yeah. Being C1, I think I'll give up my dream being in the RLCS.
2:00 actually peaked 4 years ago, never gonna happen again like that

Who is the caster at 1:46
hell yeah uwu gawwy appreciation (real ones know)
#respect Garret the best pro (however I do quite like Nrg)
I miss Carpet 😭😭
This just made me remember how bad I am at rocket league
I feel like at my current level i could have had a chance at playing season 1
Does he has the record ? I'm curious about that
I’m pretty sure he does, the only player I can imagine being close is kaydop
@@MavRocketLeague yh yh , idk if the number of matches of both was wrote somewhere but i think garrett has the record
My name is actually Garrett. So I really like him just for that but I’ve always been an NRG fan
I haven’t even played 500 games in total
Yo
I feel like some of the shots should have been hyped up more by the casters
wait, i didn't know he has played in RLCS from season 1
He's one of the ogs
Actually he has been to every RLCS LAN-Event ever...
He's the only player in history to play in every lan
1000 RLCS games???

leave them alone
give them a break. casting RL is really hard
I'd love to see you do any better lmao
I like to see you go to the winter major and cast there, is it hard?
Shows how long he's been in the scene.
GarrettG, He scores when he wants, he scores when he wants, he scores when he wants. GarrettG he scores when he wants.
His determination kept on for 4 years and he finally won in Madrid.

1k RLCS games??? lol
lol casters make so many mistakes when garrettg scores
