This wrench made my day, reminds me of when me and dad were fixing a lawn-mower's motor and after reassembling everything we heard a "ding ding" when we lifted it :), and there was our thought to be lost forever nut.
Thanks! I imagine once I get the Renegade running it'll get a lot more attention. The build process isn't as interesting to most people, but I know a lot of people do want to see it all, and I'm here for it. I just can't wait for the first burnouts
just an observation that the rear dif & oil pan look very similar & you could add that gold color to the oil pan & really tie the look together!!! Great build!~
Thanks man, I appreciate it! ,Yeah you can't go wrong with Fragola. I just ordered some for the fuel lines too. It gets a little pricey, but you definitely don't want to cheap out on these things.
Thanks man, it really is starting to look like I'll get this thing finished. I'm hoping to get it running in the next month or so, but you're probably right about getting it on the road. There's so many things that have to be done before I trust it that much lol
Looking good lunchbox... I'd look into getting two Jack stands for lifts. It would be ease of mind with being under it or just to stabilize it if the weather or something is bad and you got it lifted up.
Man, I actually have two of them, didn't realize until after when I was trying to mock up the exhaust. I'll definitely be putting them under there from now on though, I don't trust it lol
I had to do a little digging, but I think i found everything. I order pretty much everything for this build from Summit Racing. The brake lines that go from the caliper to the body are StopTech Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines 950.63501 and 950.63003. I wouldn't suggest replacing the factory steel hard lines with braided, unless there are issues with your stock setup, because this ended up being way more expensive than I imagined. I know my HHR SS's are prone to rusty brake lines and Fuel lines, and often need to get replaced, but I'm not that familiar with the 300/Charger to know if there are known issues. The -6AN and -4AN line from the master cylinder to the ABS module is from Earl's Performance, but I think I bought the -3an for the individual lines from ebay, I can't find anything in my order history. The fittings are all Earl's Performance or Fragola. They both seem like really good quality brands, and I didn't want to go cheap on those. Hope this helps, and let me know if you need any more insight.
@@SRTDC No problem at all. From what I've found while going through all this, the AN number represents how many 1/16" the fitting or hose is, so -3AN is 3/16", -4AN is 4/16" or 1/4", -16AN is 1" etc. It seems like most brake lines are all -3AN though, as you don't really need that much volume. Larger brake setups with like 6+ piston Brembos or something might be different, but I'm not too sure.
So far I haven't had to heat or cool any parts to make them fit together due to tight tolerances. I did have to bake the Cerakote on the calipers, just because the particular coating I used required it.
Everything is for a Dodge Charger, really the only thing that is Renegade is the outer shell of the body. The rotors were just generic ebay stuff, until I eventually swap to the 6 piston SRT Brembos from a Hellcat.

Oh man, that's always the worst when you drop something in the engine bay and it doesn't hit the ground, just knowing it could be anywhere lol
Another excellent video!! Way to go Mike!!! This channel deserves so many more subs. Keep them coming bud. So enjoyable!

@@HEMIGADE well we are here for it too bud and can't wait. This is going to be epic!

That's not a bad idea, Thanks! I may have to do that when I drop the transmission to swap the torque converter.
Definitely love the vid drops!!!
It feels so good to making more content, and progress is coming right along. Thanks!
Love those lines. Been using Fragola
Fuel fittings for years didn’t even realize they had the hydraulic fittings. Killer job Mike!

Awesome video Mike, looking like it's really coming along, what do you reckon another 6 months before you can drive down the road?

looks like going vband on that exhaust would be the easiest route.
Probably, but then I'll have to get aftermarket headers, which I didn't want to do yet (trying not to spend so much), but here we go lol
Where did you get these lines from? I’m in the process of doing this step for my swap right now.

@@HEMIGADE you’re the best! 🤝🏽 I’m still trying to figure out the difference between -3AN, -4AN, etc.

What type of rotors did you use? We’re they specifically for the Renegade or the charger?

When do you test the car? please tell me
I'm hoping to start it for the first time within the month, but I still have so much work still to do
