- Hey look! It's not a car unboxing! lol Anyways joking aside yiss the new Futaba 10PX radio system is here (well been here for a lil bit now) and I acquired one but didn't get around to setting it up until today. I previously opened the box myself to add batteries off screen so we could all enjoy the powering up together :D I used to touring car race and used a Futaba 3PJ radio (which I still own and still works!) so I have high expectation for this radio. I have helped setup many Futaba 7PX radios but never owned a 7PX. I currently use Sanwa MT-S and MT-4S radios on my main cars and Sanwa MX-6 radios on my rental cars. Also there is one neat feature I can't wait to test out :D :D :D Enjoy the video!
The shipping screen protector, has a pull tab, and isn't the actual screen protector. That actual screen protector is included inside the short manual, you have to install it yourself.
Oh look lights!! :-)
Is it exactly the same shape and size as the T7 ? Want to know if it will fit into the T7 storage case 😊
It is similar shape and size to the T7, if anything its profile is a bit slimmer than the T7 so you should have no issues.
What do you think of it now after 12 months of owning????
So far I'm really enjoying it :D
Does this radio have a built-in gyro
As far as I know the answer is no. Futaba sells standalone gyros that you can control through this radio however.
I would have bought this ....last futaba I bought for 1k didn't even come with a manual , went Online, no manual there , no support whatsoever! .
Did you buy your Futaba radio new or used? Futaba's website now is full of support including manuals, firmware downloads etc. I've upgraded so many Futaba radio firmwares in the past month, all with great success and improvements.
@@BadShoppe i did buy it new from a local hobby store , and futabas website was missing the 7xc manual , i managed to get them to send me the PDF , but I hardly want to stare at a screen to read 194 pages ,turns out what they call a 7 channel radio doesn't support telemetry unless you only use 4 channels , I'll have to buy a flysky radio since it does support 7-10 channels and telemetry .
Ohhh I see the 7xc. Dang what a bummer. At least they sent you the PDF but oouf.
@@BadShoppe yeah it's quite daft , I am really impressed with my 4px , that things been wet, dropped even left near a heater for a half hour with no damage , hopefully next time they'll just give us a paper manual ! .
