So I'm super curious how long it takes you to arrange a song and get it to a level where you are comfortable recording it?!?! Also- would love to hear how you would do Circus for a Psycho.
Gotchu Covered depends on the song. If it's like just mostly standard chords like Stars, Feel Invincible, stuff like that, it would take about one sitting to figure it out. Maybe like 5-10 takes for a perfect play through to record. Something like Shadow and Soul by Red, or Out of Hell by Skillet, probably like 10 sittings, at least a few hours to figure out the riffs and solo and strange chords. Even longer to get a perfect play through when it's very difficult. Like probably 30 takes to finally get a good one without mistakes. Lol! Also I love that song. I tried it back in 2013 and couldn't do the solo, but still have the solo-less recording of it. I might just throwback upload it cause why not. Or I could try to figure it out again but that's work 😂

Sure man! So the key is C minor. The riff is pretty simple. It keeps hitting the C at the bottom and goes down using Bb, Ab, F and Eb and the final time going Eb Ab G. So keep that riff going from the intro till the pre chorus. Pre chorus: Ab, Fm, G, Bb, Db. Chorus: Cm, Ab, Eb, Bb repeat until "take a stand" it hits an Ab, G, Bb Db to the riff. And then for the bridge it's Cm, Fm, Cm, Ab G over and over for the breakdown riff. And then Eb, Fm, Dm for the guitar fill. "Gotta fix this" F, G, Ab, Dm into the riff. If you understood all that, just piece it together. It uses the same riffs multiple times. Hope that helped! :)
