A fitting end to the 2023 show season Mark. Who doesn’t love the absolutely idiosyncratic (and lovely for it). Citroen brand ? Absolutely loved the brilliant Citroen SM and good to hear from the owners. My experience of them is not long, but still pleasant, my dad had a CX company car back in the very early 80s, and I ran a BX17RD, both totally full of character and easy to become attached to.
I honestly didn't get Citroen growing up in the 80's. They were wacky even by comparison to other French brands but today I think the most unusual Citroen's are some of the most interesting cars ever built both in terms of styling and engineering. To date I've only owned one Citroen which was a brand new DS3 THP155 Dsport+ back in 2013. Certainly pretty conventional by Citroen standard.

Do like the citroen H Van, we have a few trailer replica H Vans selling Coffee, donuts and bueritos in our local retail park, we do have a real H Van serving coffee down by the seaside where we are. Its been a great year on Mark on Motoring car show wise and and i look forward to next years coverage.
Oh yes I see lots of mock H Van's permanently stationed in busy retail areas. Come to think of it I can't recall the last time I saw any H van moving. There will be at least another video if not more before the new year though probably more towards car reviews in the short term.
Ooh that's a thought one, I grew up around Renault so there are a fair few I've dreamed about owning over the years but I think picking just one is difficult. I'll have to have a long think about that. 🤔
@@TrevorBuick All excellent choices, yeh a 21 Turbo Quadra painted blue would be awesome. This is the problem, so many great cars. The R5 GTT, Clio 16v and Williams and if course the MK1 Mégane coupe and Renault Sport Spider were all cars I drooled over growing up. Then there are the older stuff that completely passed me by which I'm now discovering like the R8 Gordini for example. Then there are concepts like the Initial with its V10 F1 derived engine and bespoke designer luggage. There are also many great Citroen and Peugeot models spanning decades as well as more obscure stuff like Venturi, Panhard, Delarge, the list goes on... You could even argue the Bugatti EB110 with the marque having links to Italy, France and Germany.

I'd fancy a 21 Turbo Quadra or 25V6 I think, overall french for me though would be a Black, Black leather CX GTi T2, 👍
