Hey Lester and Jami. We had to put our sweet “Princess” Scarlet down on Saturday morning. Our hearts are broken and we are now in the healing process. Just wanted to let y’all know. Scarlet is a dog and she was perfectly healthy then we woke up one day and she lost the use of her back legs. She had a spinal stroke and she went down hill quickly. From Sunday-Saturday, she went from healthy to gone in a matter of a week. We are crushed. We love y’all and hope you have a blessed weekend. ❤🐶💜
Your morning started with so much love Lester - those dogs don’t only love you, they totally adore and cherish you. The only down part of being mobbed by a bunch of ‘dog love’ in the morning is wearing more of that tasty first coffee than actually sipping it, lol. Have a wonderful day. ☺️
I would take the dog lovin over the coffee any day. You have the best crew helping you. I do hope Trixie can be healed. If not, I hope she goes quickly instead of suffering.
@@mendi1161 That's not a nice thing to say about Trixie. There's nothing wrong with her. She only has a limp from a prior injury a long time ago. As long as she can walk, she's fine and besides, Lester and Jami have addressed that issue with her limping that doesn't bother her except when the weather is on the chilly/cool side. Otherwise, she's fine.
@@ceciliar559 Lester said the other day that she had cancer and they were going to do what they could to help her. If I misunderstood, I apologize but I love Trixie so very much and would never want to be hurtful to Lester or Jami.

Love Uriel and Tio working in your woods. was really interesting when the girls came over to see what was going on, and began feasting! Wishing you and Jami a lovely weekend. Jami, your garden looks fantastic ❤🙏❤

You, LE, Jami, Megan - the whole Morrow hill gang are totally AWESOME. Love you all so much
My first job paid $1.65 an hour. I worked for 43 years and at the end had a State job for Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks and it paid just over $10. per hour. Never made over $20,000 a year. Plus I raised a child on my own and was able to buy 2 different homes. This was manual labor I did Fishing access maintenance. cleaning bathrooms and grounds, mowing, spraying weeds fixing fences , walking trails to clean. for over 42 fishing accesses. all while traveling 1200 miles in a month. I was the only person (female) in Region 1.
That is true dedication!!! You definitely loved your work! But no matter how much you money you made, you accomplished a lot in life!! That's awesome!!
I just love seeing all of the dogs come over & say good morning. How wonderful to be greeted by such a group, Wow, Uriel & Tio sure do know how to take care of trees. Tio in that bucket & cutting that limb one handed made me cringe! Glad everyone was safe!
I absolutely love watching all the dogs playing with one another. You can just see the happiness and the joy of being part of a loving group and having such wonderful people taking care of them I'm feeding them and having such a wonderful place to run around and be free
Would of been cool if you place stumps along the grass line going towards the lil cabin thingy, so the goats could play on em. Somewhere for them to play on them. I bet Meguel could make a awesome goat playground... He's creative. Loved the video, will be waiting for the next one. Oh the Live tonight ? Blessings to you and all of yours.
Lester having my coffee is also my favorite time of the day. It’s the little joys in life that keep us going. I really enjoyed this video. I just love seeing you in your natural element. Spending time with your babies and doing your daily chores. Uriel is a huge help!!! I’d give him more than $25. Seeing the cow’s foraging warms my heart ❤
There honestly isn't anything better than waking up with your pets ❤. Uriel and Tio did a fantastic job taking down those dead trees. When my dad was younger he used to work for a tree company, and he would take down trees. We still have his hard hat and tree climbing equipment. And putting those logs where you did was a better idea than burning them. Don't get me wrong, I do trust you, but we all know that you've had a few fires accidentally get away from you. Hope you guys had a wonderful end to your weekend, as I had not only a wonderful end to my weekend, but to my vacation as well 😀. Take care and have a gr-8 night 🌙!
Good afternoon Lester. Uriel and Tio did a great job helping you get those trees down and moved the one large logs around. Great team work. The lady longhorns went a foraging right after looking for more tree limbs to munch on. Charlene is getting her little horns a bit longer. The pups sure love on their daddy which is so sweet. Thanks for sharing.
I love watching the ladies forage. Such a great opportunity for them. Poor Tex though. No idea to help you there. Too many ladies with his blood to let him free. Luckily he has the boys though. Love your videos and as much of headache is can cause, LHL's is absolutely beautiful and you both have done such a great job making it that way. Much love from Iowa ❤️❤️❤️

I live on an acre in Houston. I have lots of pine trees that are over 100 feet tall. I had to have six taken out last year because they were dead, and it cost about $2,000 per tree to have them taken out because they were dead. So you paying $25 an hour sounds pretty good.😂😂
All of my coffee cups have lids, it's a game changer! No more spilled coffee, no more dog hair in my coffee. It stays HOT for about 4 hours. I loved seeing Trixie play like normal. That is amazing. I love you all, including the helpers!! 🥰💘
Give that huge grasshopper (locust) to the ostriches. It'd be good protein for the birds! It was interesting watching the guys cut the trees, then fall. And the longhorns enjoying the shrubs
OMGosh! Your fur-babies are so sweet! 👍🐶😊 $25/hr is a really good wage. 👍👏😊 Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊 They don't pay our teachers enough here either. I like your cup and everything looks so fresh and green. I hope Dani gets better soon, and boy I hope Tex get hes women back soon Uriel is a good at a lot of different jobs. Glad uou found him
Hey Lester, Why don't you use the logs from those trees as "Dead Men" on the hill going up to the house? When you were using the pumps it was very treacherous climbing the hill. If you use the logs you can set up steps and fill in behind the logs. Zig-zag your way up the hill so it will not erode easily. We did these at our Boy Scout camp to stop erosion and it made climbing the hill a lot easier!
I don't know how many of the folks advisin you here have actually raised horses and been with horses most of their life but I have. Not bragging just a fact. I have raised and been around other breeders for many years. Rita is a yearling , she is fine. If anything you are doing way more with her than most do with yearlings. She needs to be in with the boys. One thing that I think is a problem is the placement of the round pen ( and I lover your round pen) It makes the dry lot outside the round pen too close quarters . The horses and donkeys have too many spots to be semi trapped causing too much pressure and making them feel clostrophobic . So they wheel, kick and bite. If you plan to leave it there I would strongly suggest either feeding them out in the pasture where they have room to get away from each other OR bringing them in to feed in their stalls. Where they can enjoy their food in peace. I think you would find that if the horses were in wider spaces they will find it easier to establish their pecking order. Also I wanted to ask you if you actually saw Rita kick Voo is the face ? I ask because it does not look like a kick. It looks like he stuck his head someplace and for some reason bumped and scraped it. If she reared and struck him with her front feet it would be more possible to make a mark like that. I wasnt to encourage you. I think you are worrying too much. Young horses , especially hot blodded horses are full of enegry. Given enough space they will work it out. Bucees has enought energy for her and Voo is more than able to take care of himself . They just need more room and the dry lot no longer affords them the space. They'll be alright . I think Rita is becoming more frustrated being switched around. Take a deep breath put her in the pasture with the geldings and give her some time. The thing I've noticed that I really like is how she walks right up to you when you are out with her. She isn't bad at all ! You just aren't familiar with a young horse. Less is more. Love y'all and love , love , love those horses.
I agree . In a larger pasture they can get their own release until they form a bond or teach Rita some manners . The two other horses seem gentle and wouldn’t give Rita more discipline than what she needed .
Lester, you should worry about the cows being flattened instead of the blind. But man O man! that was some impressive tree removal. those trees were so tall! Now your animals have quite a smorgasbord
Some of those logs the goats would love to climb on. Just a thought Once again your Jesus song cracked me up. You can really see the red in Tats face. Looks like he has finally matured. Nice work Uriel and Teo. Perfect placement in dropping those trees.
That big thing on the flower looked like a grasshopper not a locust! Cut the wood into smaller pieces that can be split into firewood then let it dry out so you can burn it!
Best part of wake up is that everyone is glad to have you . Glad to cook for you. grateful for your smile and you can speak that you know who you are. the love flows the arguments melt away.
Lol, Leaster. As a foster grandparent, right now I make $2.85 an hour. Most days, school lunch provided. I'm at school from 745 to 4 mostly. Sometimes until 5. Plus programs, conferences, and home prep work until 730. But I only travel 18 miles.
Heck I’ll come work for you for $20.00 an hour!!! $25.00 an hour is good money!!! You pay a man/woman that and a bonus every now and then for extra well done jobs and you will have an employee for life!❤️🔥
It sounds as if Uriel epitomizes the best of the term "Jack of all trades"! He seems capable of anything you need. LOL, I wrote that just BEFORE you called Uriel a Jack of all trades!
This is the first time I have got a clear view of Tat and Carl together, I know in the past you've talked about how big Tat is to Carl I would of never of guessed TAT is HUGE HUUGGGEEEEEE!😳😳😳😳
My first job paid $3.10/hour. In the 70s. Wow, the garden looks great! That was a grasshopper not a locust, still a harmful insect. I can't kill them either, Lester.
I love ❤️ how you start singing 🎤 to Tat and Carl and ask them if they have JESUS 🙏✝️🙏 in their heart ❤️. I thought that was Carl that hissed at you. I was kinda shocked 😮 when you said it was our sweet Tat! Oh my how times have changed!! HOLY LOCUST!! I wonder what Tat and Carl would do if you started throwing LOCUSTS in their pasture? The lady longhorns are pretty impressed with the tree 🌳 work!! ❤️
$25 is such an amazing amount to pay people. My Dad's first wage for a weeks work as a labourer was £10 (old English money). It shocks my Dad that UK minimum wage is £10.42 an hour now hahaha. Crazy how things change
What happened to the female Ostridge's? I never see them anymore. Sadie and Fiona like your attention so they know they're doing a good job! Well, they all want your attention. They all adore you. 😊Awesome video! T-I-M-B-E-R!
Best morning ever is a cup of black coffee ☕️ and loving from your animals!! What a blessing you’ve been to Uriel and (Tio) and vice versa. He’s such a hard worker and so knowledgeable with so many different projects you have around both projects. I know this might be a stretch but I wonder if Uriel would be open to working with Rita?
Only $25 jeese lester that's fortune, the national minimum wage in the UK is £10-40 per hour normal hours have been reduced to approximately 32/35 a week obody can I've as a family on 1 wage
Tat sounds like a flame thrower 😂😂 Tio means Uncle in Spanish 😊 25 dollars an hour!!😱 Id work for you too for that amount. I remember when I made 7.25 an hour when I first started working back in 2001.
I worked at Rexall Drug store at 88 cents an hour. After going to a vocational school, I got a job at a hospital working 3p to 11p. I made 1.25 an hour . I wanted to buy a new car so I changed to 11p to 7a. to make 1.50 an hour.
My first job as a waitress paid 90 cents an hour in 1972. Few tips as the place was not very busy. I cleaned the whole kitchen and mopped the floors while working alone. When I turned 18 I got a job that paid $2.35 an hour!
My first job was $2.00 an hour. I saved enough money to pay my college tuition working 2 full time jobs making $2.50/ hr. Of course back then tuition was only $2000.00 a semester. But I managed to get a double master's degree and start out my life with no after college debt. It was not easy, but I'm very thankful I was able to do it.
I was thinking about your dead grass, and you had said, "the soil has sand, dirt, and red clay." The red clay in the soil maybe too hardened from the lack of moisture, for grass seeds to come up. What I do (in Florida) which the soil does not have Red Clay, is Till the soil (burnt patches) with soil, cow manure, and water. Tillage is turning and mixing the topsoil that you have and put down the cow manure mixed with soil. Next, sprinkle in your grass seed and water. Tillage is the agricultural preparation of soil by mechanical agitation of various types, such as digging, stirring, and overturning. Examples of human-powered tilling methods using hand tools include shoveling, picking, hoeing, and raking. You could have a compost pile of leaves, soil, and cow manure. Buy a bag of Grass seed make sure it's the Bermuda or St. Augustine seed. I pay close to $4.00 a bag for cow manure. Try it out, on a large, burned patch and see what happens in two weeks. It would be inexpensive to try it. You have most of the materials right in your property. I love your woods! You must be really enjoying exploring your own woods. It is very healthy for the soil to clear out the dead trees too. Your view of the river is breathtaking.
Lester, first let me say I am kidding with you. Don't want you to get mad. But you screamed like a girl over the locust! Then....YOU the big bad man who won't even run his hand over a bull or scratch them arounds horns, was insisting Jami come and kill it even though it would wipe out her whole garden!! You said it was looking at you! Maybe practice what you preach a little. 😂😂😂 Please remember Im just kidding you! I can be scarastic. And without verbal and body language, it may not be obvious Im Kidding.
I guess things are very different in Texas, regarding labor. Here in Southern California at In-N-Out Burger, the workers get $20 or more dollars an hour. That certainly is not skilled labor.

It reminds me of a dentist office. Lol
Lester, you should worry about the cows being flattened instead of the blind. But man O man! that was some impressive tree removal. those trees were so tall! Now your animals have quite a smorgasbord
You are the dog’s favorite part of the day❤
Lester & Jami I have a question. Why is Charlie not being mean like carl and Tat during breeding season, when Charlie and Tat are the same age?
Charlie doesn't seem to look or act the same at all. But he is different to the ladies too. He's a special ostrich
Lester and Jamie I bet the reason why her owners gave her to you is because of her little attitude she's got they couldn't handle her that's what❤
Some of those logs the goats would love to climb on.
My husband’s first teaching job was $8600.00 per year my first job was $1.25 per hour.
Back in 1977 when I was a fresh brand new R.N. I was CLEARING $350.00 every two weeks.
I thought that was pretty good.😜
"Lester and fire"....that cracked me up this morning
JUST LOVIN” on that music Lester !! (and the chainsaw “music” too) !! 🎼🎼🎼
The best part of waking up, is Folgers in your cup!!! Lol!!! Remember that commercial?
Howdy y’all!
Is his name Teo(short for Teodoro) or Tio (uncle)
Many, many Blessings to y’all!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Mercy sakes alive!!! I'd GLADLY pay $100 per hr for a couple guys to cut down 2 Pine trees. Here in my southern city, it's $2000-$3000⬆️ PER TREE!!!!
Lol, Leaster. As a foster grandparent, right now I make $2.85 an hour. Most days, school lunch provided. I'm at school from 745 to 4 mostly. Sometimes until 5. Plus programs, conferences, and home prep work until 730. But I only travel 18 miles.
Lester, I am FREAKING out that you picked up that bug! I'm itching all over the place from that creepy crawler!
Heck I’ll come work for you for $20.00 an hour!!! $25.00 an hour is good money!!! You pay a man/woman that and a bonus every now and then for extra well done jobs and you will have an employee for life!❤️🔥
My first job I got paid training wages at first and only got 2.70 an hour. That was 1981. After a couple weeks I got minimum wage.
My first job was $2.85/hour + tips. Now I'm driving school bus (25 years) and am making $47/hour.
Tat sounds like a flame thrower 😂😂
Tio means Uncle in Spanish 😊
25 dollars an hour!!😱 Id work for you too for that amount. I remember when I made 7.25 an hour when I first started working back in 2001.
My granddaughter would move from Michigan to Texas to make $25an hour..heck if I were younger I'd do it, I live off $800 a month
Wow! Perfect fall! Good job, Uriel!
Jamie's first job paid exactly what mine did. Boy. Times have changed. I also remember when gas was 25 cents a gal.
Good Monday morning 10/23 Lester ☕️☕️🤗🤗
Twenty five dollars an hour would have been great when I first started working. My first job paid $1.27 per hour at a dry cleaners.
Imagine eating those grasshoppers or locust yuk...they making alot of food now from those bugs
I guess things are very different in Texas, regarding labor. Here in Southern California at In-N-Out Burger, the workers get $20 or more dollars an hour. That certainly is not skilled labor.
