Korean/Mexican grass needs mowing every month. But unfortunately here people cut it once a year, that too very short with no green. This absolutely destroyes the grass. I am maintaining my korean grass for more than 10 years. Just mow it as much as you can to prevent weeds, fungus and termites. You will get a perfect carpet look and it blows this pearl grass (weed forest grass) right out of water.
