Thanks; the city looks lovely with all the hanging pots of flowers. I lived there 25 years ago, and I'm glad to see Beaverton Bakery, Giovanni's (best pizza on the planet) and the Oriental store still there.
Is Beaverton part of Portland? I am seeing a lot of Portland residents complain that the city does not provide services. If Beaverton is part of Portland, taxes paid in Beaverton would go to Portland, right?
Yeah I guess I forgot to mention in the description this was taken towards the end of last summer. I didn't post it because I didn't think there was much interest in the smaller cities on RUclips. But eventually I figured I'll post it when things got slow and I don't have other videos ready. I've actually bought a pocket cam and slowly learning how to use it to make these videos. I've taken a bunch of things with it already in some popular Portland neighborhoods but the audio is pretty bad so I'll have to see if I can salvage it or have to retake everything with external audio
@@4KNatureandCityWalks Oh, I thought global warming sped up in the Portland area, lol. I've watched your videos before and I especially like them when you do the more hipster parts of Portland. But Beaverton's okay for suburbia. I don't think you've ever done Mississippi or Mt. Tabor😉, have you?
Yup I’ve done Mississippi. I didn’t put any text on the thumbnail as kind of an experiment, but I’ll change it shortly to make it look like the others. And thanks
@@4KNatureandCityWalks Oh wow, you most certainly did👍. When I first visited Portland, i fell in love with this neighborhood street, and then the others. Downtown is fine, but it's the east side of the river that has the real character of Portland, imo. Thanks again.
Graffitti and crime and breakins and high drug culture and homeless growing out of control here now with zero policing by lazy millenial entitled cops...yet cost of living has more trippled in just a decade here...if you cant afford a tesla then forget it.
Very Idyllic looking. The streets are so clean and the hanging flowers are so lovely and colorful. Looks like a nice quiet place to live or visit!
Beautiful footage, color is superb. thanks for sharing.
Not sure if I will ever get to Beaverton, but thanks for showing it to us. Much quieter than New York City that's for sure :)
No problem, I figured I might as well do as many places near me as I can before I have to travel
New York Is sooooo busy I was mind blown 🤯
sincerely there is nothing to say the USA are such a magnificent country in terms of its environment and its natural vegetation I love this country !!
About what month was this? Looks about spring time, maybe (from all the flowers).
This little patch of historic Beaverton is encircled by suburban mall-type development.
*Me just sitting here watching sombody walk in my city*
Same

It’s in the metropolitan area yes. Along with Vancouver Washington, Gresham, Troutdale, Hillsboro, Oregon city and Tigard
@@03PaK thx, I found it is not in the same county as Portland, so taxes are different.

Nice but too much rain too expensive and due for a huge earthquake. Also taxes, drugs and homeless. Id never live here. Plus this looks super boring
Is this area affected by antifa?
