Mixed feelings. I hate how she's 2nd phase but at the same time, Incase I lose 50/50, I'll have enough time to get her as a f2p since each patch can roughly get you to soft or hard pity
One thing to take note of: There are 2 types of DoT damage. Talent DoT & Break DoT (Entanglement & Imprisonment are NOT considered as DoT, but CC DMG) Talent DoT scales with ATK & DMG% Break DoT scales with Break Effect & is NOT affected by DoT DMG% (eg. Sampo's LC does NOT buff Break DoT, only Talent DoT) The only effect that can buff both damage is Sampo's Ult (IDK if Kafka has similar effect in her kit. All I know is that she should be able to trigger both DoTs)
Dreak DoT also scales with the level of the character who triggered it, and also to anyone wondering, the damage taken when an enemy unfreezes is also not considered DoT
Nah kafka maybe looks great but do you saw the enter of dan heng? Thats a drip which is worth it to pull. And jingliu after that which is another waifu element .❤🎉 To not forget how strong his lightcones will be more powerfull then blade and herta.
gah, i’m so conflicted. ive been looking forward to fu xuan since her introduction in the story, but with Sampo, and Himeko being my characters of choice, Kafka (and Luka!) would be a great addition to the team.
I'm ready for Blade and Kafka to come out because I'm tired of hearing about them. Wanna start hearing about Topaz and just about any other character that's coming
not really excited for DOT team so just go for mono lightning team with Tingyun and Serval. Serval procs extra DOT with ult and Skill. Depending on the enemy weakness in MOC most likely switch up to it with Kafka
I dont believe this will work as well as you hope. Since same element dot's don't stack in this game. (you cant have example multiple lightning dots proc at one kafta activation) Kafka wants to play in team that has lot of different elements. If you put silverwolf in that team comp not only you loose one potential dot user. But also siverwolf can hit like 4 different elements when you would ideally want her to make opponents weak to your main damage dealers element. Also many other people are saying that Serval would be good in kafkas team. Serval is actually bad because you dont want two lightning element characters in her team for similiar reasons as described above.
2 same element character can apply 2 different DoT on the same team. I tested this with hook and himeko and the enemy have 2 different burn DoT. Fire break is also counted as different DoT so there can be potentially 3 different proc of the same DoT (in this case burn)
This is wrong. Multiple DoTs coexist on enemies. You can easily test it with burns from himeko and Asta - an enemy can have 3 burn dots at the same time. Moreover, going by the current skill/trace descriptions of Kafka and serval, they both mention "shock" only. Which means any shock buffs from 1 of them will most likely affect the shocks from the other. Kafka and serval will be affixed together in 1 team.
I'm gonna make it work somehow. It all depends on serval and kafka's dot interaction and how the shock reset works. If it's as bad as people speculate, then I'll hold off on the mono-lightning dot team featuring kafka/silver wolf/serval/bailu and instead I'll just use the standard dot team consisting of kafka/luka/sampo/natasha or bailu.

Kafka E2 is probably the most important E2 to pull for, other than SW

For Welts lightcone isn’t the EHR useless since kafka shocks with her ultimate and talent not her skill

SW has no place on DoT teams. The best DoT team will be Kafka, Sampo, Luka, Asta/Healer. And Black Swan on the team in the future

Absolutely not true! SW shreds defenses, which considerably boosts DoT damage
Kafka is very bad now, in future probably is well character.
