I'm not crying, you're crying. My gosh, what a beautiful tribute to a very cool little horse. He's such a sweetie. His snorts always made me smile. Every horse that is lucky enough to be assigned or picked by you, Sam, is one lucky horse....and the new owners are even luckier to have a horse so wonderfully trained. Your love of working with these Mustangs just shines thru and thru. Congratulations on Newt's third place! Hope we get to see some sneak peaks as Newt continues to mature.
Beautifully done....and put together so quickly after the journey ended for your fans to enjoy. Thank you for letting us all share in this extraordinary journey with you and Newt!
There is nothing plain about that horse, bay is a beautiful color....nice black mane, tail and legs...and he has a whole lot of try in him for such a young horse. I hope somebody that keeps working with him got him as he'll make a great horse for a long time. Nice job and thanks for the video
Sometimes the horses we don't want are the horses we need in our life. I must say that this horse was chosen for you because he needed someone like you to show him love and you needed him to leave a lasting impression on you. What a beautiful story!
Watching again for about the hundredth time. 100 times of crying. He is such a special horse and you are an amazing trainer Sam!!! Can't wait to hopefully see some future mustangs! (Hint, hint! 🤣)
4:20 When first got my Icelandic & having to treat his sore ears, he would do that same behavior. Turn & bolt & pull. Unlike you, I was unable to hold the rope or handle that situation. Got a rope burn & pulled over. Every time he would yank out of my hands & get away, even with wearing gloves. He'd take off to the safety of my other horse, as they were buddies & other horse was his safe place. I'm impressed with your rope skills & strength / patience & athletic abilities. -- In my case, no rush required & being older (not aso strong / athletic) ended up switching to liberty with positive reinforcement clicker training & letting him choose to stay. A really great ear cream (Dermafas) also helped soothe the sore ears. -- Very strong back end on that young gelding. You are so talented!
Most people could not accomplish in a lifetime what you did in 100 days. I bet tge hardest part tho, was coming home without him. Congratulatuons on a job well done!
Awwwwww I'm crying... you two were amazing! Congrats on being 3rd! So glad he got a great home... looks like his new mom loves him almost as much as you do!
I’m so stoked I get to see newt everyday! He was awesome and my favorite when he was at sherrys. Such a joy to ride when you let me ride him when you where out of town. Love ya sam!
Love this little brown horse, to cute for words. Big things come in sometimes very small packages and I see great things coming from this little guy. Wonderful job Sam!
Words cannot explain how excited I was for you when you guys placed third at the makeover. He is such a sweet boy and I’m so happy your friend in California ended up with him!
OMG Newt is one of my new favorite mustangs you have trained! He has come a very long way and it's incredible seeing what you did with him! He looks so happy and like he was just living his best life with you!
Tears in my eyes, what a beautiful journey you went on with this little wonder! I’m so happy to see the huge grin on Mary’s face- he’s going to be cherished , just as he deserves. Sending you a hug from Tucson- looking forward to seeing your MM horse!

Omg I can not stop crying I love you guys together I don't know how you do it Sam you are truly amazing at what you do and I admire your strength that you have to let you yourself fall in love with these Mustangs knowing your journey together will be short but your bond will be forever... Sam, I love how you throw yourself out there and give 100%! Knowledge, patience and dedication always pay off for you. You are the best! Great video! You don't just educate about horsemanship but about how to live your best life!

Well I’m crying right now… bittersweet endings… incredible beginnings for BOTH of you. You saved Newts life… he is an incredible little horse. Just beautiful 🙏⭐♥♥♥♥
I am a grumpy old man....I couldn't watch this video without crying, and I know nothing about horses! I don't know where you horse people find this time and energy for a project like this. God bless you.
Love, love, love it! Sam doesn’t seem to matter what kind of mustang you get you just make the best of them. 24 hours a day. you and your little teammates. I’m sure makes everyone’s heart feel warm and fuzzy. Thank you Sam. Looking forward to the next one.🍎🇨🇦🍎🇨🇦🍎
Thank you for reminding me that horses can start out very reactive and still be a super solid citizen with some time. I just got an overgrown (16+hh) 2 year old and whenever she is reactive, I worry I made a mistake. Hope she turns out to be like Newt!
Try not to worry! Horses pick up on the slightest stress that you're feeling and it has a negative affect on them. Conversely, they can also sense your positive thoughts and happy emotions, so try to think happy thoughts and visualize them successfully obeying you, and how good you both will feel because of it. They pick up on any positive visualizations that you have in your mind and it helps them feel secure about trusting you and wanting to bond with you as their leader.
I have no clue about these horses, but you just know Sam can really handle herself with them. I find it so relaxing to watch her videos and see these wild horses become a real friend.
Sam, you're one of my favorite trainers for Mustangs and training videos. That really was a beautiful video❤ I appreciate your hard work and massive energy you put into all these project horses. Thanks you Sam, you're a special kind of Cowgirl👍 You did a great job with this horse! ✌
love your approach! it hurts my heart that these horses are being rounded up, terrified and so many suffer a horror movie fate. it helps to know that kind people are on the receiving end of some these precious lives. well done.he looks really happy! xox
That is actually a life goal for me to own a young horse and train it myself. Your videos are so inspiring and I hope I’d be able to learn everything and accomplish this too! Thank you for your amazing videos and motivation!
Such a beautifully made video! This little mustange is quite lovely. Solid &a nice shape . And a good eye! He will be someone's bomb proof horse. Worth his weight in gold. And that adorable short tail! Congratulations to you both.
Stunning !!! Brought back memories of rescuing Auction horses, re-schooling all but 2 tough bronc type geldings... Then 1/2 leasing them to chilren/families who were considering horse ownership. Very fulfilling to save a horse that is destined to a horrible fate 💖💖💖 WISHING YOU AND NEWT ALL THE BEST IN THE FUTURE
It fills my heart with happiness and a bit of envy to watch your videos and the horses who've been lucky enough to pass through your good hands. I'm bawling lol. Thank you so much for putting this video together - beautifully done. I'm so glad at the end we got to hear his cute little snorts again. May he have a long wonderful life!
