Hell yes love your vids thanks Nova, subscribed. I didn't realize the cross application from Indiscriminate Carnage would prioritize targets that aren't bleeding yet which is a huuuuge QOL improvement from thinking I had to apply my second stack of bleeds to a non-affected mob. Perhaps you'd get one more mob this way but the cognitive and physical lag of re-targeting in the opening rotation probably does more harm than the theoretical dps gain from one extra mob with our bleeds on it.

Is it worth trying to spread rupture to all (or as many as possible) targets or just go with the initial 5 or so you get from your opener rotation?
@@harleymoore7736 I always try to get up as many Garrotes / Ruptures as you can fit when indiscriminate carnage is up to spread them in the first 6 seconds. After that, go to the next stages of poison Bomb envenom and crimson tempest. It takes too long to single dot things after that window ends. If the packs are full of elites with high health, you could vanish and gain another 6 seconds of easy spread to try and dot the rest but I typically use vanish for emergency pulls or after your initial dots fall off
After the opener...do I have to re apply ruptures manually in case I don't have vanish ? And if it's a mega pack, how many ruptures it's the healthy amount to have on mobs? Thanks!!! Absolutely nice guide!
If its a normal pack of like 5 with a few elites, you most likely do not need to re apply ruptures as they'll be pretty close to dead. If it's a huge pack or pack with mostly elites, you might need to reapply and you can rupture one (proc bone spike combo points) switch target and rupture instantly as well. For Mega packs, I try to get as many possible within the indiscriminate Carnage window, and then from there you rely on caustic spatter Fan of knives / envenoms to proc poison bombs. Thank you and happy you liked it! So for both of your questions, since I play mostly as a clicker I do things differently and not in the ideal or efficient manner. I do tab target and I don't have thistle tea macro'd because I tend to spam my clicks which would trigger thistle even if kingsbane was on cd. But...for the ideal setup and efficiency, not clicking abilities would be better so you could click mobs faster and you could definitely macro thistle/KB if you're confident you won't press KB when its on cd or itll still burn your thistle tea charge
These vids have really helped as simplified what is happening where as other vids seem so chaotic and i am like what am i really meant to be doing. How do you get the spells to be above the mobs that you have applied etc. That is what i am missing from my setup as i have my ui right with Elvui, just need the debuffs/buffs set up correct in a good place

With 1 charge, it seems like it’s still regarded better to use your shiv the back 8 seconds instead of before. I do wonder at times with the dot being capped now if this still holds true

@@Claw94 oh yeah especially now that they fixed the set bonus. I miss the 2 vanish at times too, I think just a lot of people don’t realize how much damage you can do plus enemy damage reduction if they just wait 1 sec in between for you to get stealth. It’s definitely frustrating at times haha

Hey! Do you think there will be any changes in build in 11.0.5? And how do you deal with energy when off invis? Because venomous wounds works fine when im going out of invis when everything is poisoned, but when im not i dont have idea how to stay with energy.
@@Quicktrik only if they are not close enough or spaced out a bit. The game does a good job at auto selecting targets that you did not garrote or rupture the first or second time and places it on them. Only time it doesn’t work is if the enemies are out of your radius and then you need to swap to a target to cluster them

@@michalnovotny6716 it will prioritize mobs in range that don’t have rupture so you don’t have to switch and can rupture same target (but that particular target will overlap) You could squeeze out 1 additional target per rupture if you do switch though.
@@iMistTheVoices so Kingsbane does an initial attack of damage and then applies a dot. The dot portion increases in damage everytime you apply a lethal poison to the target which ramps up the dot. It used to be and still regarded as more damage by shiving the back part of the dot vs the initial attack. This xpac, they capped the dot percentage maximum but as far as I’m aware, it still lends itself to more damage to shiv the back half vs shiv initial attack. Although I’m really curious to see the math on it now, but I’m not quite the math person
As a pvp’r whos now playing M+, not having double/aoe shiv feels horrible 😢 i wish they would make it more easily available in the tree considering its our only cd that can do any sort of multitarget. Meanwhile other classes like dk, mage, warrior just passively cleave with their CDs. Same with just having 1 vanish.
Yeah I have a difficult time when I swap between PvP / PvE trying to play around the setups instead of habit. I initially missed my double vanish early on in M+ too, its so nice in PvP. I haven't really looked yet but do you know if they're moving anything around for the anniversary patch?

I do play a very similar build but I made it harder myself and swapped targets for spreading the initial DoTs and back to marked target :D I feel so dumb you don't even know :D :D
@@NovaWarcraft I already tried, and it's way simpler now, doing a lot more damage in bigger packs. yeah, I kinda don't see any other options, this has everything. Pure bleed/poison don'T seem viable. I'd love to play sub, but it's not performing well and it's hard to manage cooldowns
@@cooller8888 Yeah definitely seems more standard right now. Ahhh, I've always just been an assassination main so I've never really messed with sub/outlaw much xD
@@NovaWarcraft you should give it a go, outlaw is fun, but I don't feel much like a rogue anymore while playing it, but it's fun. As a sub, however, that's a true rogue feeling. Sub is just superior, but the design still has gaps that are hard to overcome and in pve is underperforming. The PvP sub is superior on the other hand. I think rogue is kinda good state, all specs have some flavor and usefulnes.
@@Christopate91 you should use Deathmark on high health or high priority targets in AOE as well, just try to time it where you will have it back available for the bosses as best you can

@@atdatdatd just how I play, never liked having a ton of nameplate clutter. I know the way I play between clicking, UI, lack of addons or weak auras isn’t the most ideal lol
both, but most importantly, to see dots + desired debuffs. I use a plater profile that I edited to show only the debuffs I want to see on nameplates of a mob (rupture, garrote, caustic spatter (which also makes the entire mobs nameplate white for easier re targetting of caustic spatter target in large packs after re applying bleeds etc) and I show deathstalker's mark on the far right side). If you only show the debuffs you want to see it becomes a lot less visually cluttered and really, really helps when playing a build so focused on bleeds
why is this call a hybrid? one look and i see nothing hybrid about lol i mean to me a hybrid should be like reaching none of the capstone something like that

@@NovaWarcraft you should give it a go, outlaw is fun, but I don't feel much like a rogue anymore while playing it, but it's fun. As a sub, however, that's a true rogue feeling. Sub is just superior, but the design still has gaps that are hard to overcome and in pve is underperforming. The PvP sub is superior on the other hand. I think rogue is kinda good state, all specs have some flavor and usefulnes.

Should i use Deathmark in Aoe Too or only in Singletarget?
@@Christopate91 you should use Deathmark on high health or high priority targets in AOE as well, just try to time it where you will have it back available for the bosses as best you can

@@atdatdatd just how I play, never liked having a ton of nameplate clutter. I know the way I play between clicking, UI, lack of addons or weak auras isn’t the most ideal lol

both, but most importantly, to see dots + desired debuffs. I use a plater profile that I edited to show only the debuffs I want to see on nameplates of a mob (rupture, garrote, caustic spatter (which also makes the entire mobs nameplate white for easier re targetting of caustic spatter target in large packs after re applying bleeds etc) and I show deathstalker's mark on the far right side). If you only show the debuffs you want to see it becomes a lot less visually cluttered and really, really helps when playing a build so focused on bleeds
